The Read Leaf

The sky is full of dark clouds, no one would say it is morning. The heavy raindrops s***h against the ground. But the people living here are on their usual routine, the morning hustle can tell that everyone is in a hurry. It is a day before the schools reopen, a very important day for all the students. Avery's POV; We gotta go shopping for school at Walmart and Target, I need to call Katie. *on call* Avery: I am outside your house. Come down. And would you mind cause my brother is also coming with us. Katie: No not at all and ya coming. *call ends* Ya she is here atlas. "Would you both mind if my sister comes along" Katie asked. I said I was fine with it but my dear brother gave a big no. "Come on George, it won't matter if she comes along." I told him. "Ummmm ....... ok" he replied. After long hours of shopping we were finally home. "School bag check, Books check, Laptop check, anything remaining?" I was checking everything when my brother said, "Why are you so nervous?" "Isn't that obvious tomorrow is the first day of school, I want everything to be perfect, if we forget something then we'll get late if we get late we'll get detention on the first day of school and I DON'T WANT THAT." I said. Mum had now called us for dinner. After dinner dad told us that Mr. Martinez Katie's dad would be dropping us to school tomorrow. "Now, I am going to bed or- - We know what will happen. Good Night." My brother interrupted. *The Next Day* Katie's POV; Today is our first day of High school and I am very excited. Me my cousin Adalyn, Avery and her twin George are currently in the car. "Guys are u all excited?" I asked. "Very much", everyone replied together. On our way to our high school we listened to music and played games. What will happen after they reach the school?
