The unknown hero

Angelo Seiko was a high schooler who was always bullied by some upperclassman. He never stood up for himself because he was weak and too afraid to do that but the bullying wouldn't stop. It was just getting worse and worse and he knew that it was too late to fight against them. One day, as he was walking on a park, he noticed that the bullies were there but one was missing. There were only 2 of the bullies there and he tried to go off without them noticing him. As he was walking backwards he bumped at someone...it was him, the third bully, the leader of the group. He saw Angelo and said: - what are YOU doing here? Ohh I get it you missed us and that's why you came to find us. Well here we are wimpy, now you know what to do. Give us all the money you have. -B-but I don't have any with me...- Angelo said. - You don't have the money to buy us a drink?!! But we're best friends aren't we? - I'm sorry I didn't take any with me... - You- The leader of the group was interrupted by a voice. - Hey you leave him alone- someone yelled as they walked towards him. It was a beautiful girl and she looked just like a movie hero. - Who are you? -said jack, the leader of the group. - I'm Yuri and I would say nice to meet you...but I would be lying. Now leave him alone. - And why should I do that? - Because I know your dad and I can tell him what you're doing and oh will he be disappointed. - Ok ok just don't do that, we'll leave him alone. We don't need him anyway. - jack said as he was walking away with his group. Yuri went close to Angelo and saw if he was injured and asked if he was feeling good but he just answered with: -"I'm fine I didn't need your help I could have handled them." - as he walked away without thanking her. He was so angry he didn't see the rock in front of him and just fell down. Yuri started laughing and went to help him again but before she could do that he got up and run. After 3 days Angelo goes at a convenience store and as he was getting the last orange juice,he saw another hand trying to reach it but he got it and put it at his basket and then he raised his head to see who wanted it. It was Yuri and as he saw her he turned around and headed out. Yuri said hi to him and in that moment he knew he couldn't avoid her after all she had done. So he just said: -Hello... - How are you? -Good I guess. - I never got your name wimpy - she said while giving a warm smile. - I'm not wimpy, my name is Angelo. - he said in a moody voice. - relax relax I was just kidding. I'm Yuri Kumiko and I'm 16 years old. - hi..uhh...I wanted to thank you for that day when you uhm...saved me... I'm sorry I didn't thank you that day I just- he got interrupted - you just were embarrassed, I understand don't worry. - right...you can have the orange juice since you wanted it. -Angelo said and gave it to her. She thanked him and they headed out together. After paying they both head to different ways. After that they start meeting more and more often. They met at the cinema so they watched the movies together, they met at the park, at the bus, at the train and they would always stay together. Their friendship became weirder and weirder and so did their meeting coincidences. 1 month passed and Yuri had to move houses so she could be closer to her school. Angelo asked her where she was going and she just said: - I don't really know but I know that we will still be in this town so don't worry we'll meet again. Angelo left a bit sad and after 2 days he sees that some people were moving in to the house next to his. He got curious so he asked her mom who they were but she just answered with - "I don't know but I think that they're nice people." After they finally moved in, Angelo's mom went to give them a cake as a welcoming gift. Since Angelo was curious he went with his mom to see who was and if they had a kid his age he could be friends with. *Ding ding* - the bell rang. A woman opened the door and her face was familiar somehow, like he had seen her but he couldn't remember where and when. - Come on in! - the woman said while opening the door welcoming them in. -Oh thank you! - Angelo's mom said and he went inside too. She gave the cake to that woman. - Oh you didn't had to. - she said. - Please accept it as a sign of our friendship. She took the cake and then saw Angelo. He hadn't spoke a word since they got there so she told him: -I have a daughter almost your age. She's really shy and doesn't like to interact with people but maybe she will be friends with you because you look like a nice boy. She will be here soon.   The door opens and a girl comes in. It was a little girl who looked like a doll and with her a bigger girl who seems to be her big sister. It was yuri. He saw her and was surprised and so was she.  - Oh yuri dear, you finally came home. - said that woman. -yeah I'm home... Welcome - she said to Angelo and his mom even if she was still confused. Angelo's mom saw both girls and she told that woman that her kids were gorgeous. That woman wanted to introduce Yuri to Angelo but then she saw both of their faces and after thinking for a while she just asked them directly: - Do you two know each other?! -yeah...- said both of them at the same time. -Jinx - Angelo yelled and after realizing what he did, he got red as a tomato and everyone started laughing. It was so embarrassing for him so to make him feel better,Yuri told him to go at her room so they could talk and so they did. Angelo saw Yuri's room with a lot curiosity. Her room was so special, so girly and so tomboy at the same time. It looked so weird but so cool. It was pastel pink with a color which seemed to be dark blue with dark green. It had a lot of anime character posters and a lot of fashion magazines. After a lot of analyzing, Angelo came into the conclusion that her room was stunning and had such a good smell, probably her parfume. It was flower parfume, not rose tho. After changing, Yuri went into the room and saw Angelo watching her room. -Do you like it?- she asked. -Huhh? What? Do I like what? -My room. - Yeah it looks really good I love it. -Glad you like it. They sat down at the floor and started chatting. Their conversation was weird, but After that they started being serious. School would start in 2 weeks and Yuri wanted to go see her new school so she asked Angelo to go with her. The next day they were getting ready to go out. Angelo got ready faster and was waiting for her when her little sister came down.  - Yuri came down yelling: "I'm readdyyy". - What were you saying? - he asked Yuri's little sister with a smirk as he noticed she didn't liked him too much. As Yuri came they headed towards the school. Yuri was leading since she already been there but just outside it. It took only 7 minutes to arrive at school and Angelo wanted to see if they were in the same class. After going inside school they saw the lists to see where their class was. They were both in the same class but Angelo's desk was close with the teacher's desk and Yuri's desk was at the back of the class. They had 2 weeks to get ready for school and they decided to do all of the preparations together. They bought the school's uniform, books, the bag and after finishing all of them they would go out to eat food or ice cream. Angelo's best friend One day, before school started, Angelo and Yuri were out to eat ice cream. Someone called Angelo, it was a boy's voice. -Yo Angelo what's up? You completely forgot about me in summer. - Hey Carter! It's been so long since I last saw you, since the last day of school I think? - Yeah and you didn't even call me. - Sorry dude I was busy all summer. - Yuri pulled his shirt asking him who he was. -Right, Yuri this is Carter, my best friend. -And his only friend. Yuri had a bad feeling for him so she wasn't exactly happy she met him. He looked selfish and not like a good friend, or so she thought. - Are you a moon? Because you light me on my darkest days - Carter said trying to flirt with her. Yuri could have choose to ignore him but she just couldn't, and so she crushed her ice cream into his face and said: - Don't you ever dare to try and talk to me. - and left. Angelo, being confused and not knowing what to do, just gave Carter a napkin, said sorry and run after Yuri. He really couldn't leave her alone, he felt like he needed to protect her, she was in some kind of way priceless to him. -Wait for me! Yuri didn't listen to Angelo since she was still mad at his friend but he caught up with her. - What's wrong? Why did you do that? Carter is a good guy he didn't deserve that. - Well I'm so sorry that I did that but he totally deserved what I did. He looks like a selfish boy and looks like he only cares about his looks. - That's not true, he really is a nice guy and he said that pick up line because that's his type. He's a flirty guy. Let's go back you need to apologize to him. - I'm not going back to him. Now where do you wanna go? We should go out now since we're still on our holiday. Can't believe school is starting in 2 weeks. It looks like it's been just a week since I met you but at the same time it seems like an infinity. - Yeah...it really has been so long since we two met. To be honest with you, I been getting out of my shell since I met you. You changed my life for better and I'm thankful for that. - Enough chit chat now, where do you want to go? They started walking again but this time not knowing where they're going. Just walking wherever their legs would take them. After walking and talking Angelo asked why Yuri's little sister hates him. - She has a lot of reasons in fact. I asked her too one day and she said said "ok do you want me to say them in alphabetical order?" and I was so confused because she's only 8 she doesn't even know the alphabet how can she put them in alphabetical order?!! - So what were the reasons? - she said "A) Angelo is bad B) Bad friends means bad sister C) CIA is searching for him etc. etc.." or so she said. - Wait...CIA is searching for me?! - No she was just making things up because she's a kid.- she said while laughing. - Kids have a really wide imagination these days. And so they started walking home. First day of school The last days of holidays went by fast and soon enough school would start. Angelo and Yuri spent together the last day and were extremely excited for the next day, the first day of school. And so that day came . Yuri and Angelo were late so they started running. On their way Yuri stepped on a tree branch and fell. Angelo laughed and went to help Yuri get up but he was laughing so hard that he fell down while helping Yuri. They both forgot about school and were laughing while still being on the street. They then heard the bell which meant that school had started. They got up, run and made it in class. The teacher saw them and just told them to sit down. It was the time for them all to introduce themselves and so they started. It was Angelo's turn: - Hello everyone! My name is Angelo Seiko and I hope to get along with everyone. - that's all he said then sat down. After everyone else's turn then came Yuri. - Hi everyone! My name is Yuri Kumiko and I think I'm a pretty fun girl that gets along with everyone. The only person I know in class until now is Angelo and he is a really nice guy. Our teacher looks like a cool teacher and so I like him too. I hope to get along with everyone and let's all be friends and help each other out in times of need. Oh and if anyone can give me a pencil I'd be so thankful because mine fell somewhere. Thank you! - and so she sat. Everyone rushed to give her a pencil and just like that she got popular. Everyone wanted to be friends with her. Angelo thought that she would leave him behind but she didn't, the one leaving the other behind was Angelo. He would always stay with Carter and almost forgot about Yuri.He started avoiding her, and every time she started talking to him, he would just ignore her. One day, as he was with Carter on their break, Carter asked Angelo: -What happened between you and Yuri? You two were so close. - She doesn't want to talk with me since she's so "popular" now and she forgot about me. That's all we didn't had a fight or anything. - I'm sorry to tell you but she's not the one avoiding you, you're avoiding her. You even ignore her when she tries to talk with you and never ask her she is. You should go apologize to her. - Why should I? Anyway let's go, the break is almost over. They both went to class and just acted like nothing happened. The next day, Yuri wanted to make up with Angelo and she made him lunch so they could eat it together. When she got there she saw Angelo with Carter and didn't want to go talk with him, but it was her only chance. She went there: - Good morning Angelo. How are you? - . . . - I'm sorry if I did anything... I made lunch for us so please come. *The bell rang* I'll be waiting for you at the roof. - and she left. Angelo didn't really want to go there but he really wanted to become friends with her again. He knew that it was his fault but his ego wouldn't let him apologize. Before lunch break Carter told Angelo: - I think you should make up with her. At least she's popular and maybe you'll get some popularity from her. There are a lot of benefits if you're friends with her again so I think you should go. - Hmm.. maybe you're right, I mean I would be friends with her again so why not take some advantage of it?! Imma go now. Making up Yuri was waiting for Angelo alone and started wondering what's taking him so long so she went downstairs. She saw Angelo with Carter and heard what he was saying: - Yes Angelo! I think that's the best way to get some other friends. - You're right Carter I'll listen to you. I need to go now before I be too late. Bye bye! - Bye! That's all Yuri heard so she started thinking why she hated Carter and why he had such a bad aura. She decided to give him a chance but after she made up with Angelo. She run back to the rooftop and sat waiting for him. Angelo went to her: - I'm sorry for what I did. I know it's not your fault that you became so popular but I thought you would leave me behind and that's why I avoided you so I could be prepared for the day you'd hate me. I'm so sorry! Yuri smiled..: - At least you understood your mistake. I thought you started hating me because I don't like Carter and maybe you had to choose between me and him... I'm sorry too... - It's not your fault, it's mine but anyway let's just eat before lunch break is over. - Yes! I missed our chats... - Yeah... Let's eat. - You know what? I decided to give Carter a chance. He looks like a good friend with you so maybe he really is. - Yes he really is a good friend and you made the best decision you could have. Let's go talk with him after we finish school. After school finished, Angelo called Carter. - Carter can you come for a moment please? Yuri wants to talk with you. - Oh sure just give me a minute. Yuri wasn't so sure anymore if she should give him a second chance. She was still doubtful about him and his aura was still the same, but the way he acts with Angelo is so different from what she could feel.
