The mysterious disappearance

Worried sick about Angelo, after school Yuri and Carter went at his house just to find his surprised mom:

- Isn't Angelo with you two?!

- No,we thought he was here that's why we came. He didn't come to school today and we were worried that he was still sad about yesterday...but if he's not here neither, then where is he?!?

The three of them went on looking for him, hoping he was somewhere close. They went everywhere in the town, and at his favorite places, but he wasn't there neither. Being worried but hoping he'd be back, they returned to his house and were waiting for him. 2 hours passed and he still wasn't back. They thought of the worst and went straight at the police station.

- I'm sorry, I want to denounce my son, he's missing.

- Ok ma'am, for how long has he been missing?

- Since 7 am today.

- And how years old is he?

- 16, his name is Angelo, Angelo Seiko.

- Ma'am are you sure he's missing and not just hanging out with his friends?

- He's an introvert, he doesn't have too many friends. His only friends came home looking for him.

- I'm sorry ma'am but we can't help search for him because he needs to be missing for 24 hours so we can start researching for him.

- But maybe it will too late then...

- I'm really sorry...

They walked out of the police station. Devastated from looking for him, they went back to start searching Angelo again themselves. This time they started asking everyone they saw in the streets and stores. It was 10 pm when they stopped looking for him because it was pointless since they couldn't see anything in that darkness. Each of them got separated, they were going in different ways, even Yuri and Angelo's mom. That night none of them could sleep. They were thinking what happened to Angelo,because he's not the type to not go back home just because he's sad. Yuri and Carter were feeling really bad. They thought it was their fault that he went missing since he got sad because of them, mostly Yuri. The next day they went back at the police station and this time they started searching for him. Angelo's mom gave them a picture of him so they could notice if it was actually Angelo or not. The police started interrogating and questioning his mom and friends. First it was the mom:

- Where did you last saw him?

- Yesterday morning, before he went to school. He ooked sad but I didn't think it was a big deal since he wouldn't talk with me about it.

- So he went to school? Or he skipped it?

- I guess he skipped it since he wasn't there.

- But he started going there hmm...ok thank you. One more question, do you know where he usually goes when he's sad?

- Usually he goes to the park, but he wasn't there.

- Ok thank you for your cooperation. Next one is Yuri Kumiko. Yuri please come in.

- Yes sir.

- When did you saw Angelo for the last time before he was missing?

- I saw him the day before yesterday. I didn't saw him get out of his house in the morning because I was late and I thought that he was gone already.

- So you two had a fight since he didn't call you in the morning ?

- Not really...he was sad tho because we reminded him of his dad and he told us he wanted to be alone.

- Ok, the last question, where does he usually go when he's sad?

- Uhmm...usually he goes under the bridge that is at the center of the town.

- Alright then. Thank you for your cooperation. The last one Carter Kurt. Come on in.

- Yes sir.

- When was the last time you saw Angelo?

- The same as the girl before me, the day before yesterday.

- Do you have any idea where he can be?

- Not really...but usually when he's sad he goes to the park or under a bridge that is in town.

- I heard he's your best friend since middle school, is that right?

- Yes sir.

- Ok then don't worry, we will find your best friend.

- I really hope you do!

The first places police searched were the park and the bridge. Even if the police was searching for him, the three of them didn't stop either. After a lot of questioning random people on the streets, someone said that they had seen him.

- Sir, please tell us, where did you saw him?

- He was near the lake feeding ducks. He looked kinda sad so I sat down near him. I asked him if anything was wrong and why he looked so sad. He answered with "memories" and continued feeding ducks. After some time I saw he was texting someone, when I was about to ask who he was texting, my friend called me and I went home. But going home, I saw someone approaching him. He was wearing a soldier outfit and looked like he just returned from war. That's all I saw, I'm sorry if it wasn't too helpful.

- No no no, thank you so much sir, you really helped me so much. Can you please show me where he was sitting?

- Yeah sure, come this way, -he said walking towards the big trees. -He was actually sitting in a really quite place, like he didn't want anyone to see him.

- Really?!

- Yeah, maybe to meet up with that man or I don't really know. But here we are. He was sitting here that day.

- Alright thank you so much you have no idea how helpful you were.

- No worries ma'am. I got to go meet up with my friend now, goodbye.
