"Willow, what did you just call him?" I can hear her laughing in my head. "Mate" she screams and jumps around in my head. I looked up and he was still smiling at me with a knowing smirk on his face. I realized I had not responded back. "Hello" I said. "How are you feeling?" I looked down at my body and saw I was in a hospital bed and gown. I looked up confused. "What happened?" He grabbed a chair and moved it next to my bed. " Well, let's start from what I know. You called out for my help, I got to you and you were shifting and passed out after you shifted. I brought you here and now when you are ready we are going to head to my kingdom." I looked at him and said "wait, who are you?" He smiled "Why the Lycan King Roman, of course." My eyes must have got huge since he started laughing and so did the other younger guy in the room. He pointed to the gentleman next to him and said, "This is my beta Josh and this is Alpha Mike." I gave them a small smile for a greeting. "Before we get caught up in talking, let's see if we can get you out of here. It's not safe." A nurse came in at that moment and had papers in her hands and was looking at the ground and her hands shook when she handed the King Roman papers. "Alpha told me to bring these in and said she is good to go." The nurse ran from the room. After I got dressed and was ready to go, I took them to my room to get my stuff. Which wasn't much. Soon as we walked in the door, the two behind me gasped. "You really stay here?" I looked back and said, "Yes, all omegas unmated stay in rooms together in male and female quarters." I tried to look through their eyes and saw a big room with 10 beds in it and little dressers next to each bed. Maybe they're omegas sleep more people per room. "So why am I going with you?" I ask and the Lycan king says " I will explain in the car." I go over to my bed and grab my little bit of clothes and a couple of books. I turned to them and said " Ok, I'm ready." They both stared at me like I had lost my mind. The beta asks "That's all you own?" "Yes, we are not allowed to own a lot of things." We headed to their car and I could see the party still going when we passed. I keep trying to remember what happened but I cant. In my head I asked "Willow what happened?" "You shifted, she explains." I asked how is that possible and she said you were weak and passed out. A voice pops in my head male voice "Are you ready to talk yet?" I gasped and looked up to the passenger seat and saw the Lycan King searing at me. "Sorry. But how did you link with me?" "You linked first last night asking for help." I thought back and he was right. I was trying to get help and Willow wouldn't respond and then a male voice did. "Now we are out of your packland. A few hours ago, you did your first shift into a Lycan and, with you under weight and tired, you almost didn't make it. You almost died since you were not prepared.
