The Day
Violet stood in front of the bathroom mirror looking at the dark circles under eyes. Eli had only got out of the hospital yesterday and he went and stayed at his parent's house since the wedding was the next day. He liked sticking with tradition but it meant a restless sleep for Violet. Cora bursts into the room and yells "Violet, where the heck are you?"
"I am in the bathroom relax." Violet lets out a huff.
Her best friend walks in with curlers in her hair and a phone to her ear. "Yes the cake needs to be at the table near the trees and whatever you do, do not let Charolette put those doilies under it. We are using the lace runners instead. Thank you for your help Bekah see you soon." She hangs up the phone and looks at Violet's reflection then clicks
