Chapter 7

721 Words
*Simon pov*  We were playing video games in the living room, until Matt comes down the stairs a little troubled:  -What's happening with you?? - ask me. He was quite altered now. Everyone looked at him confused  -What the f**k are you talking about? - I say getting up from the couch furiously.  -Why did you apologize to Larson? - he asks approaching me. Everyone looked at me surprised. To be honest, I didn't even know why I apologized to her, I just left. And now, I needed a good excuse:  -I kicked her 3 times, and she had helped us. The least I could have done, she would have apologized. It's worth a lot, it's worth our freedom - I say. They didn't seem too convinced by my answer, but they didn't argue further.  *Jacob Larson pov*  -HOW THEY DIDN'T FIND HER? - I ask furiously -I looked everywhere - Julian said stepping back.  -THEN LOOK FOR MORE - I say screaming - I'll give 1,000,000 dollars to whoever brings her to me, dead or alive - I finished  -Dead sir? She's your daughter - Julian asks confused  -One hour or another we will have to kill her. She's only gotten me into trouble so far - I say in a cold tone  *Harper pov*  I woke up with clarity in my eyes. I looked to the side and didn't see Simon, I don't even know if he slept here. I was very hungry, and for some reason, none of the boys had brought my coffee. I went down the stairs very slowly, the room was empty. I walked to the kitchen and went to a cupboard looking for food. I grabbed a bag of cereal, and closed the closet. When I turn around to face Simon with his arms crossed. He was wearing a sleeveless blouse, which made his muscles more apparent, it was impossible not to stare at them:  -Who let you out of the attic?! - He looks me up and down and smiles cynically.  -I was hungry - I say trying to lift the cereal bag  -I'm hungry too - he says seriously - I just didn't say what - he finishes smiling maliciously and then bites his lower lip  -You are disgusting - I said leaving. I didn't take 10 steps and I was pushed against the wall. It could only be Simon, because it was just him and I in the house, and if there had been anyone else sleeping, I would have woken up to the sound of my body hitting the wall. He turns me to face him, and braces his hands on the wall beside my body. The space between us was minimal, our bodies were almost glued together. I felt my heart speed up. He would review the look between my eyes and my lips:   -What's up Larson? Are you afraid? Weren't you the brave one who decided to face me? - He asks, running a hand over my cheek. I closed my eyes trying to control my breathing. Great, he's a murderer, a psychopath and he's going to r**e me - I may be a lot, but I'm not a r****t - he spoke like a whisper in my ear, which made me shiver all over. He removes his arms, allowing me to pass. I run to the attic. I walked to the sofa by the window and looked outside, where the snow was falling. My thoughts wandered to the last happy winter I had:  flashback on  -Melissa is not worth it - I say running to my best friend, who was throwing snowballs at me.  -What's up Haiz? Don't you have the strength to hit me? - She says throwing another ball. I start to laugh  -How old are we? - I ask still laughing  -16 - she answers coming to me - I love you bestie. I'll be here with you, forever - she says hugging me  -Thanks! I will also be here with you forever - I say looking into his blue eyes  -Come on girls, say hot chocolate and carrot cake - Carmen says from the door of my house. Me and Melissa ran in and laughing  flashback off  I smile remembering my best friend. Ahhh, how I missed Melissa. I let some tears escape.
