Chapter 4

*SM pov*

I turn to the door. The boredom was too great, so I take my cell phone and watch some videos they sent to the faction group. They were videos of the m******e on the last mission. People screamed in pain. They were satisfying sights and sounds to me. When I realized, she had already finished her bath. We left the bathroom. She goes to the bed and lies there. I go downstairs and go talk to the boys:

 -We can't leave her alone up there - says Aa

 -I don't even f**k around there - N says. M just shakes his head no. S leaves the room, making her answer very clear. All eyes stop on me. And I had no choice but to babysit the spoiled brat:

 -Okay, okay, I'll take the annoying - I say huffing and rolling my eyes. We spent the whole afternoon playing video games and drinking. When it gets dark, I go up to the attic, irritated, and open the door without any delicacy. Harper was reading a book, which I assume was off that dusty bookcase in the bedroom. She doesn't show any reaction to the noise I made as I enter, just keeps reading. I throw myself down beside her on the bed, and turn off the lamp. She throws the book on the floor and turns her back to me, I just hear her whisper:

 "Good night" I widen my eyes and turn around, staring at his back.

 -Why did you say that? - I ask astonished. She turns to me and says:

 -I'm being polite-she says calmly. Moonlight hit her eyes, allowing me to see how green they were.

 -But why? We kidn*pped you, took you out of comfort - I say still not understanding. She stares at me deeply, as if she wants to read my soul, but I wouldn't take off the armor.

 -I was always targeted by thousands of factions, and because of that, my life was always hell, I never had the normal life I always dreamed of having. I have no idea how many more months I have to live, so why do you want to use that time being spiteful? The biggest favor you could do for me would be to kill me - she says, and turns her back to me again and falls asleep. I watch her sleep peacefully, as if nothing is happening. I turn my back to her and fall asleep.
