Chapter One: The Author's Words.
Putting pen to paper to write Jie Xuan Lu, I have no complicated gimmicks—only one goal:
To preserve the genuine wisdom of metaphysics, help those seeking understanding avoid scams, and guide the confused onto the right path.
Today’s metaphysics circle is far from the "pragmatic disaster-resolving" realm described by the elders.
Some pass off shamanic "protective steeds" as "battle steeds" to swindle extra money; some tamper with the Tao Te Ching to fabricate "original texts" for profit; others peddle fragmentary spells with broken methods, fooling people openly. Worse still, under the guise of "discipleship and inheritance," some package basic common sense as "esoteric teachings," charging tens of thousands of yuan yet only teaching superficial knowledge.
Yet true metaphysical wisdom should be a key to solving real-life problems and a way to cultivate one’s mind—not a tool to make people pay for anxiety.
This book has no harem tropes, no invincible systems, and no mindless power fantasies—I refuse to cater to clicks, choosing instead to settle in and share hard-hitting, substantive content.
From the fundamental differences between Taoism as a religion and philosophical Taoism, to the lineage of "protective steeds" and "battle steeds" in shamanic culture;
From the basic logic of the Five Elements and the five zang-organs, to practical interpretations of Bazi (Four Pillars of Destiny);
From debunking the pseudoscience behind "offending the Tai Sui" and feng shui scams, to addressing the risks of spirit communication games.
Every chapter revolves around three core principles: seeking truth, avoiding pitfalls, and being practical.
I will lay bare the rules passed down by the elders, expose the scams prevalent in the market, and share actionable conditioning methods and people-reading skills—but I will never teach unrealistic or cross-boundary/illegal content like flying spells or national fortune-telling.
I must clarify a few bottom lines upfront:
None of the content in this book may be misinterpreted, promoted improperly, or used for commercial gain or profit-making. Those who arbitrarily spread or misuse sensitive information shall bear full responsibility for the consequences—I cannot and will not be liable.
Updates will be irregular, but I guarantee no missing content or fluff. Those willing to settle in and read word by word—let’s journey together. If you find it tedious or rambling, no need to force yourself; you can leave at any time.
While I start with Taoism, I will not limit myself to it—I will also discuss shamanism, folk customs, and related fields. The core will always be "cultivating the mind as the root, benefiting others as the priority"—a corrupt heart will lead nowhere, no matter how many techniques one masters.
Regarding inheritance, I have my own perseverance:
Non-critical meditation mantras and basic common sense will be fully disclosed;
But core inherited knowledge that could be abused—such as incantations, gang symbols, seals, and formulas—will never be directly written in the text.
If any reader sincerely wishes to learn and has genuine practical needs (e.g., harmonizing oneself with the environment through proper means), feel free to contact me;
But those looking to profit or show off after learning— I will not utter a single extra word.
For interaction: I will reply to every question in the comment section. If a certain type of question gains widespread attention, I will dedicate a special chapter to analyzing it—no hiding or holding back.
Today, much of the good wisdom has been misinterpreted and defamed. Writing these words, I aim not only to safeguard the root of metaphysics but also to tell everyone: metaphysics is not feudal superstition, nor a shortcut to instant supernatural powers—it is wisdom to align with nature and insight to distinguish right from wrong.
May you finish this book able to see through scams and avoid being deceived, understand yourself without confusion, and above all, uphold your original intentions, using what you’ve learned for positive purposes—to protect yourself, your loved ones, and what we ought to defend.
If you too are tired of the chaos in the metaphysics circle and want to distinguish truth from falsehood, let’s start our conversation with folk culture.
