Underneath one of the pictures was written *muay Thai stance* It was A picture of a shirtless man in only a boxer's trunks and two gloves on his hands.
*Keep legs spread shoulder width apart with the left leg in front of the right. Arms would be placed at face height with the right in close and the left outwards. Palms should be placed in a semi grabbing motion* (what I understand of muay thai)
The picture showed the perfect stance and Justin went along with it, mimicking the man in the pic. As soon as he got into stance he suddenly felt a jolt of electricity.
*Congratulations, you have successfully mastered muay thai stance* the voice came from the direction of the white light.
Justin was solemnly surprised. He had mastered the stance just like that? Mastering the tail chi stance took a lot more than just one pose...but this...so easy! Could this be the benefit of the eidetic memory?!
Getting excited at learning the muay thai in such a short amount of time, he moved on to the next move displayed. The muay Thai jab... The description said:
*Get in the muay thai stance, Transfer your weight forward a short step and punch with the lead hand until it reaches full extension to the opponent's body.
Be sure to rotate your palm down, As soon as it reaches full extension quickly pull it back to its original position*
Following the instructions he then got into the muay thai stance and did the move. He took a light step forward with his left leg and punched the air. A bolt of electricity once again travelled throughout his body and he knew what was coming.
*Congratulation you have successfully mastered muay Thai jab* Like he expected the message had really come.
"f**k yeah!" he shouted in joy and punched again testing the move out. His form was more perfect than the first time and the punch even carried a low key sense of strength. He keep doing it until booms were heard everyone he punched. He was imbuing the punch with mana!
*Muay Thai cross: Get in the muay thai stance, Transfer your weight forward a short step and punch with the back hand. Make sure back hand reaches full extension to the opponent's head.
Return to original position after punch*
That was the description for the cross which the picture demonstrated.
"Back hand? That's my right hand right?" he looked and confirmed from the image them he got into stance. He gathered his mana into his right arm and making use of his back muscles to augment the punch...he punched.
A loud sound was given off as space rippled.
Justin looked at his hands with awe...had he just acquired the best martial arts or what??!
*Congratulations you have mastered muay thai cross* the system said as Justin 's smile reached his ears
"More!!" He screamed as he went on to the next intructional image
*Elbow left: Get in the muay thai stance. In your place, turning the core muscles and back, thereby swinging the left elbow, which is bent at an angle near or at ninety degrees in a horizontal arc into the opponent's chin or head.
The left shoulder is thrust forward and finishes just touching the outside of the chin. At the same time the right hand is retracted and tucked inside to protect the inside of the chin.
Back to original position*
This one aimed directly for devastation...right on the person's chin! It would be a great move in battle if the situation ever came up when he was out of mana! This skill book's the definition of complete and utter brilliance!
