The villagers were frantic ad they rushed looming for a safe haven. The only thing stopping the creatures was the green forcefiekd that covered the whole village. The guards were at the forefront wiyh their spears and shields fighting off the centipedes from the other side of the barrier. The grossly things kept hitting the forcefiekd with their bodies hoping yo break the damned forcefield. “Alert the warriors!” one of the guards ordered his companion. The barrier could only last so long. If the big one attacked, it wouldn’t be able to hold out. The guard who had been ordered immediately got on his heels and left the gates heading for the most secluded part of the village. Kulin’s dawn, Southside of Wonpas village. There lied a massive cottage that looked deserted. The surrounding were full of various wastes and beer jugs. A man walked out of the cottage and stretched his body as he looked at his surrounding a with a satisfied smile on his face, “what a beautiful sight” he said as he inhaled the pungent smell in the air “ah that’s the stuff” “Bauxia come in for more wine! We aren’t done yet” a hoarse voice spoke from inside the cottage. The man standing outside looked back and rubbed his belly “ would have loved to continue but it seems we have some company” Bauxia said. A fat man holding a big wine jug came staggering out of the cottage. It was the same man who had called Bauxia earlier. He wiped the snot dripping from his nose and drank a large amount of wine from the guy letting out a resounding belge. “ugh, get ur stinking mouth away from me old man” Bauxia said and playfully pushed the man away. “C ant you see the village’s under attack?” Bauxia said, looking up at the sky. “huh?” old man ling let out another belge and dropped the wine hug as he closed his eues fro about 5 seconds. “huh…it really is. How’d you know so fast?” old man ling scratched his head. Bauxia looked at old man ling with a smug smile as the entirety of his eyes turned pitch black and a faint sound of a bird cawing could be heard. Old man ling grunted in disgust. “ you don’t have to show off your crow eyes every time you know” he said. The bastard always liked to show off right from when they were all youngsters. Bauxia's eyes reverted and he said as he stared at a distant running figure that was gradually closing in on them “well, the other need to know” Old man ling smiled as the drunken look in his eyes cleared off. It had been a long time since the four warriors of the North had some real fun! On the other side of the village, Justin was all grumpy and angry. Why the f**k did someone choose to attack the village now of all times! When he finally wanted to get the well deserved sleep he hadn’t had since these past three days. Justin, kulin and chief doctor mutilo gathered in the living room of the house, from expressions on the faces of kulin and the chief doctor. The horn had been blown thrice, that wasn’t good news, it was bad…very bad news. Kulin packed his arrows and bow getting ready to fight. “Hold your horses man, where you going?” Justin asked seeing as kulin had dressed like he was about to go find some battle. “ The village is under stage three attack. It’s mandatory for all men to defend the village during this period or risk dying” k ukin said as he tucked the last of his arrows into his quiver. “alrighty then…good luck” Justin said with a nonchalant voice and collapsed on the couch ready for some good sleep. He didn’t give a f**k if the heavens were falling or the world was ending, all he gave a f**k about was his sleep! Besides the villagers wouldn’t lose because one man didn’t help them. Kulin didn’t lose focus as he carried his bow, ready to head out and defend his village. “kukin!” chief mutilo's voice stopped him from moving any further. Kulin slowly turned back with a not so good look on his face. If baba was about to stop him like other times…today wasn’t going to be other times. Surprisingly chief mutilo did nothing to stop him. He brought out a pouch and handed it to kulin. “Take it. From now on you’re free” chief doctor mutilo said with a smile. “Baba…” kulin was teary eyed, baba was really giving him the go ahead…. “ I promise, I won’t disappoint you” kulin clenched the pouch in his hand and walked out of the room, ready for war. Justin had one eye open watching the two, it seemed like the chief had listened to reason and hearkened to his words. Mission successful! Kulin walked along the streets of the village, it was dead…like on one lived there. The villagers had all locked their doors and hidden inside. As he got closer to the gates, k ukin wondered what kind of people would make the guards sound a stage three alarm. Did the other village’s invade? Sounds of men shouting got increasingly louder as he got closer to the gates, “ Gracious kulin, even the forcefield is trembling!” kulin gasped at what he saw. Thousands of monstrosities threatened the barrier as they slammed against itvwith with bodies not minding the harm it caused to them. Smoking green fluids emerged from their mouths and landed on the barrier. A searing noise following the impact. The guards were basically useless against the horde. They could only like with their spears and nothing else. Kulin immediately got to work. Bringing out his bow, he placed an arrow on it and drew. His target, a particular centipede that had been over enthusiastic in destroying the barrier and of course…a few others with it.
