Date: October 22 Time: 5:59 pm Year: 2022 Location: Fukushima, Japan Place: Fukushima Elite academy Mikato Yuji, a tall high school boy by the height of around 169 cm with a bright brown scruffy hairstyle, pale skin, and spectacles. Was now sitting in the back corner of his classroom as he is now seeing his first-ever girlfriend, Naoki Hamada, being tackled by four zombie boys as her dead eyes staring at him emotionless as her skin began to be decayed showing a sign that she is transforming into a zombie. With a scarred face, Yuji was now sitting there still shocked and terrified as he continues to watch his girlfriend being bitten by a zombie as he started to shake in fear as he continues to curse at himself for not trying to help her. ' f**k, f**k, f**k!? Why, why, WHY MUST EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS?! EVERYTHING WAS FINE UNTIL IT HAD TO HAPPEN. I FINALLY HAD MY VERY OWN GIRLFRIEND ON SUCH A SPECIAL DAY OF MY BIRTHDAY, AND NOW IT HAD TO BE LIKE THIS!!!! WHY? JUST WHY MUST THIS HAPPEN TO ME!!! AM, I HATED BY GOD!?' As Yuji is still complaining in his mind. His now dead girlfriend is now rising as she had already become a fully transformed zombie as she began wobbly walking toward Yuji who is now being much more terrified as tears appeared in his eyes as he looks straight at his girlfriend and then at the other four male zombies following her. Yuji: ' I am so sorry guys. I am pretty much a useless guy after all. And as for you Naoki, I am sorry that I was weak and useless. But still... ' Yuji: " At least I can still be with you, as a zombie together." As Yuji closes his eyes, ready for his zombie friends to bite him and transform him into one of them. Both of his zombie friends were now charging toward him with an inhuman speed as the zombie Naoki open her mouth very wide as she is between 6.1 inches away from Yuji's neck Yuji himself began to remember the time before the whole event had happened. Time: 8:00 pm (7 hours and 59 min ago) As the sun continues to shine on the peaceful city of Fukushima. But it wasn't for that long as there was a huge crowd at the number around 160, 000 people, marching in protest towards the Fukushima power plant as each of them hold up a sign that either said: " don't waste the ocean" or " Stop ruining nature" and so more. On the other hand, some locals don't bother to even protest against their government as they all continue their normal routines. " DAMNIT I AM GOING TO BE LATE!!!!" A loud yell could be heard around the town as everybody turn their attention to see Yuji Mikato in his school uniform, which is a typical high school uniform but with a brown blazer with a school logo on it, running at full speed with a slice of bread in his mouth as he is now almost late for school that some of the locals said a good morning greeting to him. " YO, YUJI. BE CAREFUL ON YOUR WAY TO SCHOOL." " YUJI-KUN, MAKE SURE YOU HAD YOUR LUNCH." " GOOD MORNING, YUJI ONI-CHAN." As the other locals continue to say their good morning to Yuji. He then responded. " THANKS, EVERYONE. AND WISH ME LUCK FOR MY FINAL EX-" * CLASH* As Yuji was about to finish his sentence. He clashed against a random wall as he didn't see where he was walking and seeing him being clashed against the wall had given the locals a burst of loud laughter that even the dog and cat laughed at him. Yuji then stood up and dust himself as he was feeling embarrassed about the scene he had created, and just as he was dusting himself, the sound of his high school bell ranged showed the sign that class is starting and also means that he is late for school. Time: 12: 39 (Lunchtime) Here we could now see Yuji, eating his bento by using his right hand to hold the food and bring it to his mouth, while he uses his left hand to hold an ice pack to ease down the pain on the top of his head because that was his punishment for being late. And just as he was eating and enjoying each taste of the food in his bento that he brought from a convenience store. He felt two pairs of hands covering his eyes, leaving him confused until he heard a whisper of a girl's voice so close to his right ear. " Mikato-kun~" " Eh?" " Guess who is it? ~" Confused, Yuji places his hand on the unknown person's hand as he tries to think who it was. And when the moment he touches the person's hands, he at once yells out the person's name. " H-hamada-san! Is that you?" " YEP." Then the person Yuji guessed the name correctly called Hamada, removed her hands from Yuji's eyes to let him look at her. And there, before Yuji's eyes, stood a pretty and cute girl with blonde ponytail hair, a dark skin colour, and blue eyes. The girl's name is Naoki Hamada, a seventeen-year-old high school student, and she was Yuji's childhood friend since kindergarten. And her favourite thing to do was to tease Yuji a lot. " Seriously Hamada-san, stop playing around. You should know that our end-term examination is coming soon. And don't you need to prepare for your dream university entrance exam?" " Well..." Hamada then did a two-finger touching as she has shown a pout face as she is trying to come up with some excuses to escape from Yuji's questioning. But by the safe of luck as Yuji was being tackled down by two boys on the floor. " YO, YUJI. HAPPY BIRTHDAY." A party popper popped loudly as a flown of some colourful confetti flew out in the air as what Yuji see right in front of him, are both of his friends and club member from the photography club that he had joined all together giving him a happy birthday that everybody sings the song together as two of Yuji female Kohai (Junior in Japanese ) approach him with one slice of strawberry cake that has one candle lighted up. Seeing that everybody saying happy birthday to him caused him to blush a little in embarrassment as many of his classmates sing along. And when the song ended. Yuji closed his eyes as he starts to make a wish. And seeing the people he had been close with them celebrating his birthday. Has made his heart feel warm and joyful as he sees them as family ' I wish everything will always be like this until our time ends. And I hope that we will always be together no matter what might even affect us, but I believe we can survive together.' Yuji then blew out the candle and everyone cheered. Time: 3:15 pm (School ends) The school has ended. Students from the Fukushima elite academy came out of their academy gates with either exhaustion from the stress of studying or a sigh of relief to go back home. But for Yuji. He is showing a sight of excitement as he and his friends and senpai (senior) are going to celebrate his birthday by going to karaoke to celebrate it. But unknown to Yuji, something is going to happen that will forever change his life Inside the Fukushima nuclear power plant. A janitor was mopping the floor as he whistles out some tune he remembered from some old song. But then, a loud sound of many objects falling onto the floor gained his attention. The janitor looks to his right to face a dark hallway with only one light on. " Erm, hello? Anyone there?" Silence only responded to him as he continues looking at the dark hallway. But suddenly, he felt somebody's presence behind him that he turned around to look behind but only to see a man in a lab coat with an identity card clipped in his right pocket. " Goddamn it, you nearly scared the heck out of me." The Janitor lightly scolded the man before continuing his work. But he did not know that the man's body language in the lab coat was rather suspicious and strange as he was walking slowly the sound of his shoes dragging on the floor echoed around the area and got the janitor's attention. " What? Ya needs something?" Asked the janitor, he turned behind him with an irritated look, but only to have his reaction change as his face became as pale as a ghost. Because right now, his eyes met the face of the man with lab coat skin colour, was in a colour of what a dead person would look like. And the only last thing he sees is the man's bright red eyes and his monstrous opened-wide mouth with his teeth almost as sharp as a shark. " AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The sound of the screams of the janitor, echoed around both hallways as he screamed in pain and agony until he stopped. Now the floor has a pool of blood and blood splattered around the floor. There lay the now-dead janitor as his dead body was now left alone as the man in the lab coat wobbly walked away from the body to find its next victim as he makes a moaning, growling, groaning, grunting, and snarling sound as he walks. But after when the man in the lab coat left. The finger of the dead janitor twitched a little, and then it start to twitch even more and not just his finger, but so his entire body as a sight of his skin started to change the colour of what a decayed body looked like until his whole skin completely changed as he looked just like the man in a lab coat as he stopped moving, until he opens his eyes wide as it shone bright red as he gave out a loud growling and grunting sound out of his dead mouth. "Best Karaoke", is one of Fukushima prefecture's popular karaoke pubs among students, adults, and families. It is also Yuji and his friend's favourite place to hang out for holidays, or after finishing the last paper of their examination. And it is now being used by Yuji and his friends as they celebrated his birthday together that many start to have manly competition against one another. Meanwhile, Yuji was in another karaoke booth, conversing with Hamada as both were laughing heartily at a funny story of their childhood times. " Ha ha ha ha... Man, that was funny." Hamada chuckles lightly as she pours herself another glass of lemon soda. " Yeah. That was funny" Yuji takes a sip of his cherry soda as he looks at the tv screen that is playing a song with the background showing the land of grass being blown gently by the gentle breeze of the wind. As Yuji looked at the screen while drinking his soda. He did not notice that Hamada stood up from her seat and then went to the selection song device as she choose one Chinese song called " May River flows ". " Are you ready?" Hamada asked as she bring the mic close as prepared to sing. " U-um, sure." Yuji nervously replied as his thoughts said that he can't believe he is going to hear his childhood friend singing for the first time. "All right ~. Here I go~." Hamada closes her eyes and does some breathing exercises before facing the screen as it begins to play the music. The music for the song began to play as the first musical instrument, the guzheng, and then the erhu, and then the Dizi. And as each instrument began to play together. Hamada begin to sing out each phrase of the song as each word she sang, gave out an incredibly beautiful tone. Many people in the prefecture would say that she sings beautifully like an angel, while others say she sings beautifully like a goddess from the heavens. But for Yuji. To him, she sings beautifully like an actual person each time she sings the words, he would feel his heart pumping. And that was the reason he fell in love with her, ever since they were kids. Outside of the best karaoke, there was chaos everywhere in the prefecture. The fire was spread everywhere on the road and the houses. The sound of cars alarm being blared out and countless screams can be heard everywhere in the prefecture's north, south, east, and west. " AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! HELP ME!" " WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! MAMA! PAPA!" " AAAAAAAAARGH!!!!" Countless screams from both men, women, and children calling for help, or calling for their now-dead loved ones. And screaming in pain. " N-no. T-this is not real. THIS IS NOT REAL." A man in his late forties. Has his back against the walls of his house with his right-hand grips his injured left shoulder as his face was covered in nothing but fear and anxiety as approached in front of him. Was a woman crawling towards him as each time she raises her arms, they start to shake a little as it also left scratch marks on the wooden floor. " D-dear? A-are y-you, a-alright?" The man asked the woman, who seemed to be his wife, but the woman did not answer. Instead, she glared up at the man with bright red eyes as a stream of blood flowed out of her eyes as she bared her shark-like teeth as she then lunged toward her husband as she opens her mouth very monstrously wide as aimed for his injured left shoulder. " AAAARRRGGGGHHHHHHH!" The poor husband screamed in pain and agony as he looked at his now monstrous wife as she chew his torn-off left arm, and he looked at her with tears in his eyes before noticing the skin colour of both his feet and arm beginning to change into a decayed one that the only thing that he could think of, was to be with his wife as his entire face has now been changed into a decayed person. And after the changes in the skin, the man's eyes immediately open as it showing his bright red eyes as well as his now transformed shark-like teeth he starts to growl and groan as his dead body stood on its own as it's starting to walk out of the man's house and the body sees a male middle schooler trying to search for a place to hide, but to only notice the body and then start to run off as the body began to run after him and as the body lunge itself at the boy as it opens its mouth the same way as to how the man wife did as it starts to devour the poor boy body as it also forces the boy body to be transformed like him. " May the river... Flow." Hamada closes her eyes after she had finished singing the song. * Clap* *Clap* *Clap* The sound of hands being clapped together echoed around the booth as Hamada open her eyes to see Yuji clapping a round of applause with a smile that Hamada blushes deeply in embarrassment as she went to sit down as grabbed a cup of water to lubricate her vocal cord, due to her singing for 6 minutes. And once Hamada had sat down, Yuji stopped clapping as he also grabbed his cherry soda he look away from Hamada as he cannot believe how cute she is when she blushed. " Hey, Yuji." Yuji turned his attention to Hamada as he started to blush so deeply that he was as red as a red carpet because what he sees is a side he has never seen before about Hamada. After all, the Hamada he sees is her being shy as she looks at her left with a huge, deep blush. And seeing this side of her. Yuji blushed even more as he looked away and he nervously asked Hamada. " E-erm, y-yes? Everything became quiet for the both of them for a while, except for the random music being played around the booth. " Yuji-Kun." Yuji then looks at Hamada in shock as this was the first time that Hamada called his name with a " Kun ", and not only that but when Yuji looks at Hamada. What he sees, is what every idiotic otaku would dream of, because Hamada is showing a face that means that there is something that she wanted to say to him. (Which is what every Otaku are expecting- Guangzhong) " Y-yes?" Yuji nervously asked as he quickly looked away in embarrassment as Hamada also looked away from him. The both of them are now in a huge blushing mess on their faces as they all became quiet as the entire room became much quieter, besides the music still playing. [ Meanwhile at the other booth.] meanwhile, at one of the karaoke booths, which is close to the karaoke entrance and also eight doors away from the booth where Yuji and Hamada are. Inside, there is a very wild party as there are two boys in the far-right corner, having an arm wrestle as a group of sixteen people cheering them on as they all each bet on each other to see which side won. While at the left side of the booth, about 5-6 female students were gathering as they all cheered for the person standing in front of the screen was Steve smith, a 179 cm tall transfer student from the United States of America, and he was a popular student being surrounded by all girls since because of his handsome brown hair and hazel eyes, along with him being average build and also wearing a glasses. "All right. Are any of you ladies going to say anything to me before I sing it to your heart~?" Steve flirtily questions the girls as each of them either giggles or blushes as they all look at Steve with their dreamy eyes as they each bite their lower lips in a perverted way as Steve himself, was about to sing. Until the sound of the door banging shook them in fright as everyone at once stopped what they are doing as they all turned their attention towards the doors as everything became as quiet as a library. Hearing nothing back. Everyone goes back to what they were doing until the same knocking came back again a few minutes later, but this time they heard something that will give them forever chills in their very spines. *Bang* Bang* Bang* " LET ME IN, PLEASE YA GOTTA HELP ME!" * BANG* BANG*BANG*BANG*BANG* " PLEASE, I AM BEGGING YOU! LET ME- OH NO! Please, I beg of you, don't hurt, please don't. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no no no no no no no NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" * BANG * BANG * BANG * BANG * BANG* " SOMEBODY HELP ME, PLE- KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!" The sound of the woman screaming in both fear and pain could be heard through the door at once, everyone starts to feel even more chills in their spines as they all hear the sound of crunching which also make their stomachs turn. * Crunch* Crunch* Crunch* Crunch* Crunch* As the crunching continues. Everybody in the booth began to feel themselves being terrified as they are all scared of whatever is outside, is going to get them. However, the crunching stopped. Instead, it is now nothing but silence as you can even hear the sound of everyone breathing heavily in fear. But it wasn't until the silence was broken by one student who is now walking closer to the door with each step he took, that his legs will start to shiver more and then even more as he use his right hand to grab hold of the doorknob as he nervously but slowly turned the knob as he opens slowly as his eyes laid on a female body, lying down on the floor covered in blood that got the boy to be frightened that both his hand and legs are now shaking in fear. " E-erm, Md'm? Is everything alright?" The boy nervously and stupidly asked as he look at the woman's left hand lying backwards he suddenly notices both her index and middle fingers twitched a little bit, he rubbed both his eyes as he looked closely until he sees both the woman's fingers begin to twitch together a little bit and then twitched a little bit again until he realized that her entire body began to twitch together the woman lazily get herself up from the floor while her body was twitching until she finally stood up with her back being hunched down as both her arms were just left dangling as she just stood there and just only stare at the dark long hallway. ' E-erm, Md'm? I-is e-everything a-a-alright?" Again, the boy stupidly, and nervously asked the woman, but instead of a response, the only thing that will answer back his questions. Is something that will forever be terrifying for him when he goes to the afterlife. There as his eyes gazed on, what he is seeing, is the head of the woman being turned at a 180-degree turn as he looked at her monstrous wide smile with her teeth showing shark-like fangs as he also notices her bright red eyes. And before he could do anything, the woman lunges herself at the poor boy as she opened her mouth wide, and she then gave a huge bite at the boy's neck as her teeth sink in deep into the skin as her saliva start to drool down through the boy's necks as she tackles him on the floor. And knowing what is happening around him at the very last minute. The poor boy screamed in pain as he desperately tried to force the woman to let go of him by trying to hit her on both her head and back, scratching her, and even pulling her hair out with force as his eyes only looked at the woman dead bright red eyes staring right through his soul as he soon starts to lose sight of consciousness as his eyelid slowly closes as both of his arms went numb as the colour of his skin start to suddenly change into a skin of what a corpse would look like. And as for his friends. They all just stay where they are as the only thing they can only do, is to see one of their classmates being attacked as many of their faces go as pale as a white sheet as they see drops of blood dripping out of their classmate's neck as they also see the changes of his skin coloured being turned from his normal colour to a corpse colour as they only looked at him being suffered as not only none of them did anything to help, but none of them has an act of single courage to help their poor classmates, even Steve Smith, a transferred American teenager who like to bragged and showed off to all of his female Japanese classmates about how strong he was by beating up a group of 8 thugs, did not even try to even save his classmates since all of his promise of protecting them and also being strong. Was a huge lie. The only thing that they can do, is to only stupidly stare as they just stood like a statue. And so, everybody can only look fearfully as none of them made a simple sound, even though most of them would have screamed in fright but they didn't, and because of their stupid thinking of believing that it is some kind of celebration of an event that they would just simply ignored it in their head until they finally and stupidly realized the situation due to the sight and smell of the drops of blood that was dripping/drooling out of their classmate's neck. That brings them back to realities. And this is when their real fear began. The woman releases her mouth from the now-dead boy's neck, and she stood up stumbling as her head was down as drip of blood continued to drop out of her mouth as she lifts her head to stare at every one of them as she began to slowly and stumbling walk towards them all. And each step she took, she began to slowly give out a huge wide creepy grin as she opened it widely as she reveals to everybody her shark-like teeth as she began to be in a position of how a predator would do to hunt their prey as she also growled like a wild animal. And not just only her alone, but the now-dead boy, who also slowly but stumbly stood up as all of his classmates only looked at him both shocked and terrified as they all see his entire skin had been changed into a corpse skin, but not just only that, the real most terrifying and most disgusting transformation that they have ever seen, was the transformation of his teeth being popped out altogether as a shark-like tooth began to slowly emerge coming out of the gum as the boy's eyes began to lose the iris and pupil colour as it began to slowly turn full white as same as the sclera colours as bright red blood started to flow down from the upper eyes as it slowly and fully covered the eyes as it starts to mysteriously get brighter. And once the transformation was completed. The dead boy slowly and carefully looks around its surrounding like a newborn baby as it slowly starts to get used to it, until it laid its eyes on everybody, including the woman. And then, it starts to sprint toward the student as the woman also follows, and each of them opened their mouth very monstrously wide as they lunge at all the poor and helpless students as each of them screams in fright as their final word. [ At Yuji and Hamada booth.] Now back at the booth where Yuji and Hamada are in. The booth's atmosphere is quiet, too quiet, except for the music being played. As both Yuji and Hamada just sit there back-to-back from a few distances apart, while still blushing madly as they look like an idiotic couple that came out of a drama show. Feeling this sense of awkwardness and silence in the room. Yuji then takes a deep breath he takes one gulp in his throat as he prepares to say something. "Ha- " "Yuji-Kun…" Yuji go quiet again as Hamada started speaking. "Do you remember that day, when we first met?" Hearing the last part, Yuji turns to see Hamada, calmly looking at the screen in which he follows her gaze on the television screen as he sees a scenery of a lonely cherry blossom tree, blooming beautifully as many petals were being blown away from the tree by the gentle breezing wind. Seeing the tree, Yuji starts to remember the day he and Hamada first met when they were just kids.
