THE NIGHT BEFORE.. FEW MINUTES AFTER MORNINGCLOUD WAS ABDUCTED
Mr Cole was relaxing in his tent when a call rang out from his device. He was startled out of his relaxed state, which annoyed him a little but nevertheless, he still picked up.
“Any thing of interest yet?”
“Not really sir. We’ve just come across an unexpected little problem...”
A voice replied from the device.
“Then deal with it!”
“We found a boy and there seem to be a family living in this expanse, sir!”
The person quickly reported.
There was a long moment of silence before Mr Cole spoke again.
“Keep everything under control, I’ll come take a look by morning” he paused before saying
“And don’t let Mr Patterson know there is a flaw”
“Yes sir... but sir, Mr Patterson seems to be here right now”
Mr Cole’s expression suddenly tensed before relaxing. He seemed to fear this Mr Patterson for some reasons.
‘Hope he doesn’t vent by murdering again. He already classified this mission—no outside interference’
Mr Cole shivered the more he thought to himself.

And at the same time, the shadow that were being spread out suddenly rose up, forming a giant dark cocoon, enveloping them all in pure darkness.
Confusion with the fear of the unknown could be seen on all their faces.
The bullets being shot out weren’t even helping at all, they did nothing but disappear into the shadow, and the scream of their fellow comrade increased. They even blindly shot at their own men.
To the people staring from the outside, the shadow imperceptibly started swirling around them like a tornado, covering their entire existence. it was swirling slowly and gently at first but in no time, sped up crazily, becoming aggressive, growing the seed of fear in them.. worsening it all!
"Aahhahhhh"
Cries of pain quickly erupted.
Their fleshes started ripping apart slowly, painfully but surely. As if they were being hacked by thousands of blades all at once. The pace never stopped increasing. Grinding their flesh and bones, turning them all to meat paste in moments.
"No!!! please!!!.. plea..." This issued screams of agony, deep regrets, despair, echoed through out the expanse, and a little farther.
Abruptly did it stop as quickly as it started. The sight was horrific, unnerving.. a small show, similar to usual horrors of the lowest dimensions of hell.
