Chapter 22
The dark sedan drove at a high rate of speed away from the burning remains of Victor's mansion. Kiera did her best to see where the other cars had gone. She was able to see two people shoving Ryan and Sandra into another dark sedan, but she could not tell where it was going. A sheet dark glass prevented Kiera from asking the driver anything. "Where are you taking me?" Kiera shouted, "Can you hear me!" There was no response from the driver. Kiera slumped into the back seat trying to find a comfortable position. The handcuffs were hurting and making it difficult to lean back. She glanced out the dark windows watching as the row of buildings pasted by in a blur. She noticed that they were at some kind of warehouse district. The car stopped in front of a warehouse near the docks. T
