(Elizabeth's POV)
The next few days, Cora presented her case in front of the senators, Alexander as her witness. She was granted her leave of congress, but her clan was going to be watched for a while.
Everything was slowly going back to normal, but something kept nagging me. Then I asked Bath and her witch sister to do the same spell as before, with the difference that they use my blood. Again it took them a couple days to get the ingredients for the spell, so it let me fill Alexander in on what I was doing.
"You think you can find him like that?"
"If Jason had him killed what did he do with the body, and then Anthony said he wanted to do the same, something about them wanting revenge, just tells me...."
Alexander took my hands in his, he understood.
"Beautiful, he's gone."
"I know, but I won't have peace until I find him, and give him peace."
"If it doesn't work?"
I let that sink in, and that old ache in my heart touched me lightly.
"Then I'll find a different way."
He sighed and nodded, the next morning The spell was ready, all but my blood was ready.
"Ready?" asked Beth, I nodded and she dropped the blood in the mix and a light shot out and flew in a direction, I followed it but to my surprise didn't go so far. It took us to the now orphanage, which use to be the pack house.
It took us to the basement of the house, Alexander to my surprise broke through the stone, and we dug, after a while we ran into some bones, even when it wasn't a flesh body, I gasping for air as we kept finding more and more of the body.
"He had him...he had my father here the whole time!"
"Sick bastard." growled Alexander and he held me as my body shook with anger and grief.
Rafael and Alexander carefully brought the bones up from the basement, and Beth ran some magical, and confirmed it was my father. I called my mother letting her know, we had found Dad and were bring him home to rest.
After Alexander made arrangements we traveled to New York with the kids and Rafael and Emma and her kids. The kids got to meet their grandmother and uncles and apparently Aunts too. We put our Father to rest finally after years of wondering what had happened to him.
I was the last to leave, my father's grave sight, but soon my mother joined me.
"Thanks to you, your father is home."
I sniffled and wiped away my tears, and turned to look at my mother.
"I heard and understand why Dad took me, but it cost him his life, and now I feel, like it's my fault!"
"Mami, it's not...you were more important then our pure blood, your grandfather was a sick old coot, your father saw what was going to happen, his love your was stronger then the need to keep our blood pure, and you can't sit here, and regret how things turned out, when you have a good husband and beautiful children, all this was worth way more to your father."
I hugged her and she held me like a little girl, but she was right, love had been thicker then blood in this case. After a while Mom left me there alone again. Then I knelt down and spoke to the stone that now marked my father's resting place.
"I'll never be able to tell you how grateful I am for what you did for me Daddy, but thank you...I missed you so much, and hope you finally have peace."
I kissed my hand and pressed it to the stone, and like someone was wiping a tear away I felt a gentle touch on my cheek, but nobody was there. I smiled and went back to my family, the one I made and was given to me, from blood and love.
The End.
