As the guests started going home, Elisse and Eric headed back to their hotel room. She took a shower and got ready for bed. The entire time, she was thinking of Matt, and imagining what he was doing in Room 1501. Did he think that she was still so head over heels after him that she’ll just drop Eric and go to him? That guy is so conceited and so full of himself.
Her inner self replied:
‘Maybe you still are head over heels after him. You kissed him back.’
‘But that was just instinct. I wasn’t thinking.’
‘Exactly. Your body is still responding to him the same way that it was years ago.’
