Chapter Twenty-Seven
It had been a few hours now and Laura had been unable to get ahold of Matthew. She checked with Chris again and he hadn’t been able to get ahold of him either. They were getting worried for their friend, so they decided they would head over to his apartment to see if maybe he had just turned off his phone and fallen asleep. As soon as Laura and Chris arrived at Matthews apartment they knew something was wrong, they knocked on his door and no one answered. When they tried the door they found it unlocked which was something Matt never forgot to do before leaving. Chris drew his gun before entering and had Laura get behind him, he pushed the door open and called out for Matthew but there was no answer.
