"Creature in the woods."

NICK REIGNS                 “The creature inside the woods”   Chapter 1   “It was a bright sunny Sunday afternoon.” Me and my best friend Susie we’re sitting on a hill at our favorite park just watching the sky along with the sun. “Do you think Man will ever explore the sun?” Susie asked me. “Maybe but not for a long time because the sun would burn you alive.” I said back. My name is Tom I am 5 foot three and I’m skinny with brown hair.  I wear glasses and Susie is my best Friend we have grown up together she is also skinny with blonde hair and loves dressing casual. “Susie checked her watch. “Oh man it’s almost three I need to be home around four.” “OK” I told her. “Do we have time for one more walk around the park? I asked. “Yes.” Susie said as she started to jog away. “Hey” I said as I ran after her.  We jogged around the trail and past the pond. Susie sat down on one of the benches that stood close to the edge of the pond. I sat down next to Susie. We stared at the pond as a couple ducks quacked and swam. We saw a fish jump. *Sigh* Susie said. “Are you ok?” I asked Susie.  Yeah it’s just that Tomorrow is the premier for the new movie “Ghost Temptation” And my mom won’t let me see it.” “Dang I totally forgot about that movie. What if my mom agrees to go with us to see it then can you go?” I asked. *Susie turned towards me and said “Maybe but since it’s a school Night it will probably be a No.” “We’ll I will ask first thing when I get home.” I told her. “Thanks.” Susie said smiling. “We’ll I should be heading home now.” We both lived five minutes away from the park pretty much across the street. We walked back towards the parking lot and Got on our bicycles. *Susie and I Headed home.* *I put my bike in the garage in the corner where I usually place it, and walked inside. “My dad was home he was sitting at the table reading the Newspaper. “Hey sport.” He said to me. My dad’s name is Fred. He is 6 foot two and is also skinny with black hair. He works at factory he is one of the managers. “Hey dad.” I said to him. I walked over to the table and sat down. “What’s on your mind? I can tell something is.” “Can I go to a movie tomorrow with Susie But we need you or mom to be with us?” “Oh I’m sorry sport I will be at work but maybe your Mother can? Did you ask her?” “Not yet.” I said. *I stood up and left the kitchen and wondered up the steps towards my parents’ bedroom to find my mom.* “Mom I have a question.”  “What is it?” My mom asked. She was five foot three and had blonde hair and skinny. “Can me and Susie see a movie tomorrow? We need a parent with us. “What movie?” “Ghost Temptation.” I said. “Tomorrow is a School Night. I’m sorry I can’t do Tomorrow but I can take you on Friday.”  My mom said. “Ok.” I said disappointed. “You know I can’t take you to every movie but we will go this weekend your father and I will go.” My mom said as she sat up from the bed. “Now I should get a head start on cooking dinner we are having spaghetti.” *I went into my bedroom and called Susie. “Did your mom agree to take us to the movies?” Susie asked me. “No she said she’d take us Friday. But I have an idea we will sneak out tomorrow night and go and see It.” I said.     *CHAPTER 2* “I don’t know I never snuck out before.” Susie says. Besides what if we get caught?” “We won’t. I say. “We’ll ok I will trust you.” Susie says. *That Night we sit and eat Dinner. My dad was talking about his day at work. My mom then talked about her day and poured a cup of water. After dinner I helped wash the dishes and it was around eight. I took a shower and then relaxed watching my favorite TV show from 8:30-9:00. After my dad came in and told me to turn the TV off. I did and he told me what mom said and said he would come with us Friday night and we would go out to dinner afterwards. He said “Goodnight” and switched the lights off. “I fell asleep. *My alarm woke me up at about six fifteen am. I woke up and slowly got out of bed and dressed myself.  I brushed my teeth and walked down towards the kitchen. My mom handed me a pop tart and gave me my book bag. I opened up the door and walked down the driveway to wait for the bus. *I saw the bus pulling up to my driveway.  It was an international 2006 CE 200 Bus. The reason I know that is my one friend Casper knows a lot about Buses. But anyhow I entered the bus said hello to the driver and found my seat.  *The bus usually picks up about ten kids after my stop. We don’t pick Susie up though. Her mom drives her into School, on her way to work each morning. *The bus came to a screeching halt as I banged my head against the seat in front of me I looked over we had picked up a new kid. He was about as tall as me and had freckles. He was a ginger and a bit chunky. He had glasses on. He sat down in the front row and was embarrassed as his mom was speaking to the driver.  She was dressed in all black. *About ten minutes later we arrived at the School. *The bus door’s opened and we exited the Bus and walked inside the School. “A hand grabbed me right as I had walked past the bathroom. I was pulled into the bathroom. By someone.      “CHAPTER 3” “I bit down on whosever hand it was that held my mouth.” “Ouch dang that hurt.” I recognized the voice it was Susie. *I turned to her and apologized.* She said it was “Ok.” And said she was sorry for scaring me. “I wanted to tell you that I am in for tonight.” “Ok.” I said back we will see this movie. *The bell rang and it was time for our first class of the day Math.   “CHAPTER FOUR”   “We entered our Math class and sat down at our assigned seats. I was next to Casper as he was looking out the window. “Today we will be taking a quick pop quiz.” Mrs. Lizard told us. “Aww the class grunted.” “Now class don’t worry it will be easy math I promise.” “Mrs. Lizard how many questions are on the test?” John asked. “Ten questions total.” “Mrs. Lizard said passing out the tests.* “The first question on the quiz was really easy “The sum of 2 + 2 is? 4 I wrote down. Me and Susie finished our quizzes in less than five minutes we had some free time. “So how will we sneak out tonight?” Susie whispered to me. “We will wait till our parents are asleep. Mine usually fall asleep around eleven and the latest showing is Midnight. I told Susie.” “You’re seeing “Ghost Temptation?” Casper said to us. “Yes” I said back to him. “I heard that’s a scary movie it will give anyone Night mares. Can I come?” “Sure but we’re Sneaking out of our houses so you can’t tell anyone. I said to Casper. “Oh boy, Oh boy I’m not sure I can handle the pressure I have Never snuck out of anywhere before.”  “It’s ok Casper you don’t have to come you can miss out on the greatest Movie of all time ever.” Susie said. “The Pressure.” *Casper said again putting both hands on his head and shaking his head back and forth.* “Fine I’ll come.” Casper said. But I can’t miss my ride to school the next morning.  “Don’t worry we won’t miss School. I told Casper. *The bell rang and it was now time for lunch. As we stood in line we grabbed our lunch trays and grabbed some milk and a bag of chips and waited our turn for the meal witch was hamburgers. I sat down with Susie and Casper at one of the lunch tables and we ate our lunch while we plotted our scheme out for tonight. *The last three classes went by pretty fast and School was over for the day. I saw Susie’s mom she said “Hello to me and offered me a ride home. “I thanked her and got into the car. Susie’s mom didn’t offer all the time but if she did offer me a ride home I would usually take it. Her car had more room than the bus and it was less noisy. *We arrived at my house. *I opened the door and thanked Susie’s Mom and winked at Susie.*  I shut the door and checked the mailbox and walked up the Driveway. Only 9 short hours till our movie.”       Chapter 5. *I walked inside and took my shoes off and went upstairs to get into cleaner clothes. After I came back into the kitchen for a snack. My mom asked me how my day was? I told her that it went good and that I passed a math quiz. I grabbed some peanut butter crackers and took off to the couch in the living room and watched some TV. I woke up a couple hours later when my dad came home. I checked my watch it was around seven. “3 hours.” I said to myself. My dad went and got changed into better clothes and asked me how my day was.  I told him good. Dinner was ready. We ate together. After dinner I asked to be excused. I went and took a shower and got dressed in my pajamas. But I had my clothes on for the movie under them and got into bed. My dad came in and said “Good night” About an hour later. I said “Goodnight” As he switched my bedroom light off again. I waited a half hour and got up. I took my pajamas off and snuck down stairs tip toeing towards the front door. I heard a cough. My dad was still up.     “CHAPTER 6”   I jumped back and hid in the dining room as he flickered the light off and turned the TV off. I watched as he walked into the Kitchen and opened the fridge and closed it.  The kitchen light turned off he walked past the dining room and up the steps. I heard the bedroom door shut. I watched my parents’ bedroom door for several seconds. *I slowly walked to the door and grabbed the door handle and opened the door as quietly as I could and I slowly shut the door. * I grabbed my flashlight and turned it on which was next to my bike I got on my bike and started to ride down towards the road. I saw Susie was on her bike across the street. I rode over towards her and we were off for our movie. We drove down the road for a mile until we saw another biker up in front of us and saw Casper. “Hey Casper you made it.” Susie said. “Yeah I’m here I climbed out my window.” “Good.” Susie said. “I turned to both of them and said “Ok now is your last chance anyone who wants to leave now can it is not too late.” “Casper shook his head and Susie shook hers.* “Ok.” I said.  *As we continued riding our bikes down to the movie theater. We arrived at the movie theater closer towards midnight and we parked our bikes at the side of the theater and entered the movie theater. *We handed money over and got our tickets.* we entered the theater and sat down.  Finally we were able to see “GHOST TEMPTATION”   CHAPTER 7.   “The movie previews began to play and pretty soon the movie began. It was a great hour and a half and the action was just enough. I love the Paranormal. Susie said. After the movie ended we headed back to our bikes but they were gone. I asked the girl who took tickets if she saw who took our bikes? “She said she didn’t know but would call our parents if we needed a ride home?” We told her “No thanks.”  *And started to walk home. *Our walk home was long and kind of Scary because of the movie and the darkness. “Me and Susie talked about the movie while Casper complained the whole time about the bikes.  He was right. We should have cared more but it was night time and we snuck out and didn’t want to get caught we figured we would call the theater and report it in the morning. Something had caught Susie’s attention. I asked her what she was looking at. That’s when I saw it.  “The new kid who went to our school was watching us down the corner street we were headed too. He was right behind the “Stop Sign.” He must have noticed we saw him because he started to run away.” *Susie took off after him.*   CHAPTER 8   “Susie Wait.” I yelled as me and Casper chased after her. We ran down the street towards the “Stop sign.” Susie stopped by a shed. “He’s in there.” “I looked at the shed and told Susie “I didn’t like this and we should leave.” But she just turned away from me and walked up to the shed. “Susie started to knock on the shed. “I know you’re in there I saw you enter.” Susie started to knock on the door really hard. “Susie stop.” I said as I tried to stop Susie but she didn’t listen. Suddenly we heard a noise like a door unlock. Susie slowly opened the shed door. The kid walked out and got on his knees. “Please don’t hurt me I’m sorry.” “Why we’re you watching us?” Susie demanded. “I wanted to make sure you were safe.”  “Safe from what?” Susie asked. “It.” He said. “Ok what’s your name kid?” Susie said “Charles.” “Ok Charles who is “It?” *Charles pointed to the woods.* *we stared at the woods that was on the other end of the road.*  “Is this some kind of joke?” “No it’s not please believe me.” Just then we heard a weird noise coming from the woods.”   “CHAPTER 9”   Susie watched as a black robed figure came out of the woods watching us. “We slowly walked towards the figure.” The figure Yelled at us and moved towards us. I got pretty close to the figure and felt its hot breath upon my skin. I smelled fish. “The figure Put its hand up and reveled his hand had claws. “What are you?” I asked the figure. “The figure got a look at Charles and took off running back into the woods.”  “I’m not sure why but I took off running into the woods after the figure. “I heard my name being yelled at from behind from Casper and Susie. But I kept running I gained on the Figure until I tripped over a rock. I got up pretty fast and continued to run but I couldn’t see the figure anymore and I stopped and started to turn back around. Susie and Casper along with Charles walked up to me and asked why I did that?”  “I’m not sure I guess I wanted to know what that was.” I exclaimed. Susie told me I shouldn’t have run off like that and I could have gotten hurt.” I apologized. I asked Charles if he knew who that was. Charles said “No.” We left the woods and headed home.   “Chapter 10”   *We got home safely and went back to sleep. The following Morning we woke up and got to school. Me and Susie went to our classes for the morning and at lunch we found Charles and sat down next to him. “Please we know you know who that was can you tell us something?” I asked Charles. “Charles looked at me and said “The Stalker” I have been studying him for a while but too afraid to go off on my own. He stalks the woods around town.  Rumor has it it is some kind of creature but nobody has ever gotten close to it to tell before. “That explains the claws.” I said. “What?” Charles said. Putting down his slice of pizza. “Yeah last night I saw claws. “Amazing.” You’re the first person ever to make that discovery.” Charles said. “I am?” I looked over at Susie. She stared at me. “You know what this means right?” “I looked over at Charles and said “No?” “It means you and I need to go back to the woods tonight and find Him and capture him. We can show proof and we will become famous.”  “So you intend on going into the woods to find a creature you have no idea is human or not and not to mention how dangerous it is? Yeah what could go wrong with that plan?” Susie said sarcastically. “I agreed with Susie.” “I am sorry Charles but there is No way I’m going back into those woods ever. I’m leaving that creature alone.” I said crossing my arms.  And shaking my head. “Fine don’t do it for me but do it for the city.” “What?” I asked. “People have been reported missing for a while now and the only explanation is that creature. You said you saw claws. “Please my sister disappeared and my family are so upset about it if you could help me find her that would mean the world to me to all of us. Please help me with this.” Charles said practically on his knees. *I looked over at Susie she was Nodding in approval. “Ok” I agreed. I will go with you to the woods to find this creature tonight.”   “CHAPTER 11”   The rest of the day went smoothly. I did not want to go with Charles to find this creature tonight but another part of me had wanted to find out this mystery. Susie told me she would come if I needed her too.  I told her “No not yet just in case it isn’t safe.” The final bell rang for the School day to end. *Everybody left the school.* Charles approached me and said “Remember meet me near that stop sign tonight around 11.”  “Ok I will be there I said to him. “Once I got home, I took my shoes off and entered my room to get dressed. I came out and my Mom and dad told me they we’re ready to take us to the movie tonight. “You said on Friday I thought?” I said. “Yeah but we wanted to surprise you.” My dad said. “Thank you I love the surprise but could we please do it Friday?  I mean Susie can’t come till Friday.” “But we called her mother and got it all worked out tonight.” *I was happy but thoughts raced my mind. I did not want to not show up to help Charles out I had to help him with this Creature. People are counting on me. I need to be with Charles tonight I had no other choice.” *I started to cough* “Are you sick?” My mom said feeling my forehead. “He does feel warm.” “Ok go up to bed we’ll forget about tonight.” My dad said. “I’m sorry.” I told them as I walked past them and went back into my bedroom and laid down. I woke up around Nine I checked my watch. “Ok two hours away.” I said to myself. As my dad entered the room and asked how I was feeling?” I said better.” “I know you wanted to see the movie Friday we will.”  “I’m sorry again I said.” “It’s not your fault you got sick.” My dad said switching the light off in my room.” “I set my watch alarm to “10:30” The alarm went off.  I got dressed and silently opened up my bedroom door and tip-toed down to the front door. I opened the door and closed it quietly. I grabbed my flashlight and took my old bike from the garage that still had training wheels on it. I didn’t get around to taking them off yet when I got my other bike for doing a paper run job last summer. Anyway I rode the bike down towards where the “Stop sign” Was. Charles was not around. “Charles?” I whispered. I heard a noise a dog came up to me barking.   “Chapter 12”   “I froze as the dog started barking at me. Charles came out behind and started to pet the dog. “Sorry Torre got out. So he’s with us now.” “Ok I said maybe a dog will keep the creature from hurting us I said. “I don’t know But Tonight there’s one major thing we need to accomplish. “What?” I asked.  “We need to get a picture of the Creature.” Charles said showing me a camera he brought along.” “For proof.” “Ok good idea.” I told him as we started to walk down into the woods. Charles stepped on Twigs we came across a dirt path and started to follow it. I followed it and came across a bench. “What’s a bench doing in the woods?” I asked Charles.” “I don’t know.” *Charles took a picture of the bench.* We continued down the path. I heard a growl sound. *Torre took off running.* “Torre No.” Charles yelled running after the dog. “I ran after both of them. I froze as we had hit a pond. “The middle of the pond was “Glowing.” Suddenly a hand rose out of the water.  *Me and Charles hid in a bush. The Creature had emerged from the water and was now on land.  The Creature had horns and we could see it had what looked like gills for breathing underwater and had claws. It walked straight by us. But its tail swooshed into the bush into us. The creature’s tail had hit us.”     Chapter 13”   “I was sure the Creature would turn around and find us and who knows what would happen but it didn’t the Creature just started to walk away. But to our surprise another creature rose out of the water and walked right past us. “What is going on?” There are multiple Creatures? I asked Charles. “I think so? This is News to me.” *A third creature showed up.* “We’re not prepared for this we need to leave.” I whispered to Charles. “You’re right we are not prepared. We need help. Charles said. *Torre started to bark But Charles grabbed his mouth and held it* *the creature turned around and stared at our bush and Growled.* *we froze and stayed completely silent. The creature started to walk towards our bush. *We each took a deep breath.* to our surprise the Creature took off running in another direction.  We waited a few minutes to make sure it was safe before we left the bush. We made it back towards the beginning of the woods when we heard a growl I looked over two of them we’re staring right at us we bolted out of the woods and across the street. *Trying to catch our breath Charles suddenly ran over towards the woods again and took his camera out and snapped a picture. “The flash of the camera had  looked as if it hurt the Creature as the creature shielded it’s face and turned and ran away along with the other. “I got it.” Charles said smiling as he turned to me. We got our proof.”   “Chapter 14”   “What now?” I asked him. Tomorrow we will show Susie it and see what she has to say.” Charles said. “Ok I said.” We started back to our homes.* the next morning I woke up and got ready for School. Susie won’t believe us 3 monsters. We need to figure this out. *Mrs. Lizard gave us a math test today.* *at lunch we sat down at our usual table and started to talk. Charles sat down next to us and grabbed the picture from his red backpack and took out his folder and grabbed the picture. “Here look.” Susie took the picture and shook as she could clearly see a creature staring at them from the woods.*  “You guys found the creature?” “It gets worse there are three of them. “3 creatures?” What are we going to do? “Well when I took the picture it looked like I hurt it with the flash so Light may hurt these things. Tonight we need more proof tonight we need to figure out if light does in fact hurt them or not. But we need you now.” Charles says to Susie. “I’ll help.” Susie says. “Good.” Charles says.  We need all the help we can get. *The bell rang and we got to class and Mrs. Lizard who was also our History teacher had informed us that we have a parent teacher conference today. “Me and Charles stared at each other and said “this may be a problem. *we got home and my mom told me that we had to go to the School for our conference around 7:00. I agreed and got changed. Around seven I got ready with my mom and dad and we left for the School. “You know I like you’re math teachers name Mrs. Lizard. Lizard is fun to say. My dad said to me while driving the car.”  “Yeah I said laughing at his cheesy joke. “I guess I never realized I said.” *As we drove by the woods I looked over and gasped as one of the Creatures was watching from the entrance of the woods it must have recognized me somehow but as we drove by it Growled at me.* “I asked my parents if they saw it?” “Saw what?” “The duck at the Woods it looked hurt.” I lied. “That’s not good hope somebody calls and gets it help. My mom said.” *I looked back the Creature was Now following our car. “The Creature was stalking me this time.”   “CHAPTER 15”   “I wanted to tell my parents whatever they do don’t get to the School. Please there had to be some way of getting rid of the creature. I watched in horror as the Creature was gaining on our car. My parents had no clue. I watched as the traffic light up ahead went from green to yellow than red in a second. “We’re doomed I said. I could barely get the courage to turn around and look at the monster. I took several deep breaths and turned around. The Creature was stunned Between the Traffic light and the cross walk lights blinking the Creature darted away. Back towards the woods we were safe for now.   “CHAPTER 16”   “We pulled into the School parking lot where our principal was greeting guests. I got out and looked for Charles. I had to tell him what I saw I couldn’t believe my eyes it worked. Light does work on them maybe we have a way to beat them now. We walked inside the School passed the lockers and into Mrs. Lizard’s room. My parents sat down and chatted with the teacher and the other parents, while I walked over to Susie and Charles. “Look this is going to sound crazy but I saw the Creature. We passed the woods and the creature chased after me. I’m not sure why but my parents couldn’t see it and when the Traffic light switched to yellow to red and the Cross walk light started to blink the creature ran away. “Amazing so light does have some kind of effect on them?” Charles says. “My brother Sam is coming with us tonight. And now knowing this we have an advantage against them now. Charles says. “We can’t do anything until were out of here though. I said. “Right this will take a while we need to come up with a plan to get out of here. We looked over the parents were distracted with Mrs. Lizard I quietly opened the door and we snuck out of the classroom. And exited the school. We started to walk past the parking lot when we froze the Creatures we’re coming towards us. They hadn’t seen us yet. “We need to hide.” Charles said.  As he hid under one of the car’s Susie hid in a bush and I hid under another car. Just in time as the Creatures started to walk passed us. I held my breath to not make any noise as the creatures walked by.  Next thing I Knew I heard Susie scream. *I looked over and we saw one of the Creatures had Susie in over their shoulder carrying her away. *Susie was hitting them and yelling.* the creatures took Susie back towards the woods. “Me and Charles could only watch in horror as Charles parents exited the School and told Charles to get ready to leave.  My parents came and had me leave with them. Susie was in trouble. “Mom dad. You have to believe us” I started. “Charles took the photo out and showed it to his parents.” “What’s the meaning of this?” “We Kind of snuck out the other day to see a movie but on the way home we saw the Creatures that haunts the woods in this town.” “Charles that was just a myth there’s no such thing as Creatures in the woods.” “Why did you sneak out?” “Look at the photograph.” Charley said showing the picture. *His parents looked at the picture* “You did is this real?” “Yes.” Charley said. “They have Susie.” I added. “Where did they take her?” My dad asked. “The woods.”  “We’ll call the police. “There is No time.” Charley said as he started to run. I followed Charley and we headed for the woods. We ran into the woods and didn’t stop till we got to the pond. *I grabbed a rock and threw it into the middle of the pond.* Charley was looking around for the Creature’s. We heard a scream on the other end of the pond. We looked over and saw Susie.  The Creatures had her surrounded. *We ran as fast as we could around the pond and got towards the creatures when we stopped. The Creature’s looked at us and back at Susie. *Susie was now on her knee’s.* and in a blink of an eye A mist formed over Susie and she had become one of them.” “Me and Charley froze Susie was now a Creature.     “CHAPTER 17”   “Susie” We both yelled. As the creatures stared at us and started to walk over towards us. We ran Charles tripped over a rock and fell to the ground. I went back to help him up when one of the Creature’s Spoke to us “Please don’t be afraid of us. You kids are our only hope we need your help.” “Our help?” “Our help with what?” I said. Who are you and why are you after us?” I asked.   “We used to be humans like you but we stumbled a crossed a dangerous secret a potion is in the cave in the middle of the woods.  We cannot get to it because there is a bright light inside. And you kids discovered our weakness of light so we need your help please.” “Why would we help you? You turned Susie into a monster.” Charles said.   “That wasn’t intentional you see we have a curse on us that if we touch you you will turn. I got mad that you would all hide from us instead of help so I grabbed Susie by accident. But my friend here told me to let her go but it was too late and if somebody found saw her turn into one of us who knows what would have happened to her.”   “You guys saved Susie then?” I said. “Charley we need to help them. We can do it we can.       “CHAPTER 18”   Right Ok so a potion is inside the cave? Why is this such a hard mission? Charles asked. You need to Get inside the cave and get by the Creator and get the potion. “Who is the creator?” I asked. “His name is Marcus.” He was a doctor he lost his job and captured us.  And turned us into Monsters. No doubt he will do the same if he gets too you. “We won’t let him get us.” I said. Here take this. *One of the Creatures’ handed us a box. This Box will help you distract the Creator but only once so use it properly. “Thanks I said. As we started to walk down towards the path beyond the pond. “I don’t like this. Charles said to me. “I don’t either but we we help them out we can get Susie the potion too and turn her back to Normal so we have no choice but to do this. “Right you are right.” “Ok Let’s go.” Charles says. “We slowly approach a darker area in the woods we were sure we were closer to the middle of the woods. I saw what looked like a bright light up ahead.  “There is the cave.” I said to Charley. Ok Now all we need to do is stay quiet and get the potion and avoid “the creator.” “I said as we slowly approached the cave.   “CHAPTER 19” We entered the cave. It was eerie and our footsteps echoed through the cave. We walked down a long path and we lost our balance and fell down a slide. We hit the bottom of the slide and got to our feet.  We looked around and saw tables lined up with what looked to be traps. We were definitely in a laboratory. “I heard a voice coming from down the hallway. We hid under a table as “The Creator” Walked into the room. He was wearing a white lab coat and looked to be five foot six and had brown hair. He was holding something that looked like the potion we needed.  “He has the potion we need to get that back from him.” I whispered to Charley.” “Yes but how?” The man walked around the lab and approached a table with what had looked to be some kind of deer strapped to the table. “We’ll this little experiment did not work.” “No reason to keep you.” He said as he unstrapped the Animal and grabbed it and walked away. “Now is our chance. I said as we ran over and grabbed a hold of the potion. I started to walk back but saw Charles had a horrified look on his face. *I turned around to my horror ‘the Creator” Was staring right at me with an unpleasant look on his face.”  “Who do we have here? Is that my potion? I’ll gladly take that back.” *He grabs the potion out of my hand and shoves me to the ground.* “Now who are you and why are you here?” “We should ask you the same questions we found your Experiments in the woods and they told us all about you.” Charles says. “Those liar’s they lied to you. I have nothing to do with them.” I am just a lonesome old scientist inside a cave. In fact this is my home and you are trespassing I can call the police on you if that is what you wish?”  “Go ahead. I said. “I bet they would be interested to hear what happened to Susie. They will believe us over you.” I said to the man. “Fine you kids drive a hard bargain what do you want?”  “I want my friend back I want you to give us the potion to turn those creature’s back into humans now.” Charles says. “You want me to give you this potion that I have worked on for years?” No this is not a toy. But I will do it for you. I will use the potion on your friend. And show you it doesn’t do anything. “It has to do something they said it does.” “So you believe them?” Ok let’s go.” “The Creator says.” We start to follow the man towards the exit of the cave.  When he smiles and says whoops I forgot something. He pulls a rope and a giant cage comes down capturing us. Me and Charles were in trouble now.”   “CHAPTER 20”   “Get us out.” I yelled at the Scientist. “He just laughed and set the potion down on the table across from us. ‘No you see the transformation is almost complete. Your Friend will stay a creature for the rest of her life if you can’t get the potion in time. You have until Midnight before she is doomed for the rest of her life. HAHAHA. *I looked over at Charles. We need to get to that potion we need to help rescue Susie and the others they are counting on us.” “I know they are but how can we save them? We need to get out of this cave first. I looked around and saw a switch. “Hey if we can hit that switch maybe the cave lights will turn off and the Creatures can come in and give us a hand?” It’s worth a shot.” Charles said. Charles looked in his pockets and pulled out a sling shot he always kept as a weapon to protect himself if needed. *The scientist walked back towards the other end of the room and opened a drawer and pulled out some kind of device.  *Charles grabbed a rock from his stash and aimed at the Light switch and in one swift motion he hit the switch and the lights went off. “Noooo” The scientist Screamed as he ran over to turn on the switch. The light turned back on. We were still locked up. “It didn’t work.” I said. “Ha you’re little plan did not work out for you your still in hot water now.  The Scientist walked over to the cage and grabbed ahold of me and threw me out of the cage and grabbed me and strapped me down to a table. “I yelled and screamed to get off me. But he didn’t. He took out some kind of Drink Now once you drink this you will become a Creature Just like you’re friend but you will turn on your friend right here and you will eat him.” “No I won’t.” I say. “Yes you will. Nobody will ever no and I will finally be the most Recognized Scientist of all time for discovering not only having a cure but for finding a way to turn people into Creature’s.”  “You won’t get away with this.” I said still trying to kick the man. “Oh boy but I already have.” He grabbed a hold of my mouth and was about to pour the drink in when from behind I saw one of the Creature’s he kicked the scientist. “Ow” He hoped up and down on one foot rubbing his leg. “How did you get in here?” “When the lights went off” *The creature punched the Scientist in the head. He fell to the ground.   “CHAPTER 21”   “The Scientist got up on his feet and rushed at the Creature. The creature threw the scientist into a table and helped release me. I ran over to the cage and unlocked the door Charles ran out. The Creator got up and charged at us. I slide passed him and grabbed the potion from the table and we all ran. “The creator” Ran after us screaming “You won’t get away with this.” As we started down the hall towards the exit of the cave. We managed to escape the cave. Taking several deep breaths. We heard the scientist he was outside still looking for us. We hid in a bush. And slowly made our way out back towards where the other two creatures were and Susie. I checked my watch it was almost Midnight. “We need to do this now.” I said. “Here give Susie the potion first. *I gave Susie the potion and she drank some of It.*the same mist came and a few seconds later Susie was back to Normal.  And then the other three took the potion. They turned back into humans. “We’re human again thank you so much for helping us.”  “Yeah thank you tom and Charles. Susie says. That was crazy.” “Glad your all back to Normal I said. “We’re not out of the woods yet.” One of the women said. As “The Creator was holding a flashlight walking around the woods searching for us.”   “CHAPTER 22”   “We stayed silent and walked down towards the pond and passed the bench. We heard the Creator yelling “I will find you.” We headed towards the Entrance of the woods and headed out we had escaped. “We can’t let him just get away with this. I said. Yeah we need to do something we need to get the police after him. Said Charles.  “That won’t teach him a lesson he’d only get out in several years and do it all again. So what are you proposing? I asked. “Tomorrow Night payback.” The women said to us. “Meaning?” Meet us here tomorrow night around Dark.” “Ok” We said. “CHAPTER 23”   “That night once I got home my parents asked me about that had happened? I explained the whole situation and explained to them about the creatures and the Scientist in the lab.  “My dad wanted to call the police but I told him we were going to take care of him tonight in a much better way.” My dad said ok. I then went to bed because it was getting to be pretty late and we had school tomorrow.  The next morning I got dressed and got to the bus and we drove to the School. I got off the Bus and walked into the School. The principal had wanted to speak with me and Charles about an “Incident” We talked for a few minutes and then I went to math. “Mrs. Lizard asked us where we went yesterday? “We had apologized and said we needed to leave. She had given us detention for leaving. I didn’t care that much because it didn’t really affect our plans that night.   “Chapter 23”     We had gotten lunch and sat down together.  “Ok tonight we are going to go back and help take care of that Scientist I don’t know what will happen but we should plan something out.  I said. “If things go bad we need someone to be near the exit of the woods to get help just in case. Right. “I will do it. Susie says. We continue to eat our lunch the bell rings and we went back to class. We sat down and were now in Study hall. All I could think about for the rest of that day was the Scientist and what we were going to do to him?   “CHAPTER 24”   “The last bell rang and we reported to Detention. But to our surprise the women who was doing detention was one of the women who we saved. She saw us and told us we could leave. “Remember come tonight after dark we will take care of “The Creator” “Right we both said to her.  “That night my parents knew what was going on and my dad didn’t like it he offered to drive us. “I said thanks but we don’t want him to be alerted to us.” “If you need anything call us.  *My dad handed me his cell phone.* I took it and said thanks. It got to be around dark so I headed out with a flashlight alongside Susie and Charles. We road our bikes towards the woods. We stopped near the edge where the girl told us to wait.  We saw a light a couple minutes later and saw that she was coming. “You are here right on time.” She said. “I shook my head in agreement.” “Ok Susie is going to stand watch in case things get out of hand that way she can get help. I said. “Ok sounds good.” The three girls said. “By the way what are your names?” I ask.  Julie, Sarah and Carly. Julie said. Ok I am Tom that’s Susie and he is Charles. “Good nice meeting you all and thanks for your help together we will make sure “The Creator” Never does this to anybody ever again.” “Right we say.” As we start to walk into the woods.       “CHAPTER 24”     We entered the woods and started down the path towards the pond.  “The Creator isn’t stupid he is probably expecting us to return to him to trap him. “How will we trap him? I ask. “We will lure him into that cage you were trapped in yesterday and we will catch him that way. We can’t fail we have one chance. Julie says. We walk passed the pond and make our way towards the cave. We see the light was off. “Hmm he is trying to make this a bit harder for us but we can manage. Carly says. *We approach the entrance to the cave and walk inside.  We continue towards were the slide was located and we slide down the slide into the laboratory. We were now inside of the lab.  We Moved around silently and didn’t see anyone. My phone had rung I quickly put it on vibrate. It was my Mom. I answered “Hello?” Tim. The Scientist you told us about isn’t at the cave he’s at our house.” “Hello Tim” The Scientist says taking the phone out of my mom’s hand. “What are you doing at my house?” I yell.  “Well I wanted to see you but you weren’t home so I decided to pay mommy and daddy a visit. Get home.” With that he hung up. *I looked over at Julie and Charles He’s at my house.” “CHAPTER 25”   “We left the Woods and ran back towards my house.  I opened the door very quietly and went inside. The others followed as we searched the house. Susie was outside when she screamed she saw the Scientist.  We ran out and found him. He was smiling and said “I have your parents in a secret location. Let me go and I will tell you where they are fail or annoy me and well bye bye. “Fine.”  I said “We can’t let him get away.” Julie says. “We don’t have another choice I said. “Just then the scientist said “The basement” and he climbed up the gate and ran away.”  “Ran down to the basement and helped my mom and dad out. They were mad now and called the police. “We told the police what we knew and they searched the cave. They found the laboratory but there was no sign of the Scientist. “He escaped.” Julie said disappointed. For now.” We had apologized to Julie and the girls for letting them down. They said it was ok and if they found the man again they would call us. As for now are life went back to normal we saw “Ghost temptation in theaters and had dinner Friday night.  Life was just pretty much School and home for a while until December we had gotten a phone call from Julie who had found out where “The Creator” Was living at.”         “CHAPTER 26”   “It had just snowed pretty hard around our neighborhood.  Five days away from Christmas. I called Susie and told her that Julie had come in contact and they knew where the Scientist was at. “Good Now we can finish this once and for all”. Susie says.  As we prepare ourselves for the cold weather we go out and meet up with Charles. We walked a couple miles down the street and Met Julie who gave us a ride down town towards the old House that everyone claimed was haunted. We arrived there and Julie stared at us and said “Good luck Together we can beat him.” And we got out of the car. And slowly walked towards the home. Carly had her Potion in her pocket. Once we opened the door we saw the Scientist was on the couch waiting for us. “Finally you arrived.” He said as he sat up the door shut behind us. We saw a man walk downstairs this is my son. I was married before but my wife left me but not my son. We are a team. “You cannot have my father I will not allow that.” He says to us. “Now son we don’t want any trouble from you but we need to make your father pay for his actions. He turned us into Monsters he needs to pay for it.”  “Touch him you will have to go through me first.” He stands up and charges at Julie who Kicks him and slams him against the wall and he lands on the floor she puts her shoe on his chest. “Fools while you dealt with me father got away.”  “I ran up the steps and saw Him he was on the roof now. I tried to open the door to get on the roof after him but saw as a truck drove bye he jumped off the roof and landed in the pickup truck bed.  He was off again. Waiving to us. We got to the car and drove off in the direction following the truck.  The Scientist started to laugh and told us that we would not catch up to him and that he would escape again. Julie sped up and hit the pickup truck the driver swerved and stopped the car. The man got out and The Creator jumped off the truck and started to run away.  “I ran after the scientist. And tackled him to the ground. Julie walked over to the man and Carly gave her the potion and was about to shove it down his throat when she stopped “No this isn’t right revenge won’t help us out sure it would make us feel better but we wouldn’t be any better than him.  *Sigh* Julie drops the potion on the snow. “The Creator starts to laugh” “You just screwed yourself.”  “Did we?” Sarah says. “Carly just called the police they are on the way to pick you up.” *Minutes later the police arrived and arrested him. He laughed all the way to the police car and said he’d get out and go after them again. “The police offered Julie and her friends some help with the protection agency but she turned it down and said they were leaving the state and would never return.  *The police took the man away.* *Julie brought us back home and thanked us for the help and told us if we ever needed her again to call. She gave us her number. I thanked her as well and I was glad to finally put all this behind us. This was definitely a crazy adventure. But it helped me grow even closer with Susie and Charles. I wonder what Tom and Susie are up too?     THE END.       INVASION OF THE STINK BUGS   Chapter 1   “Chad and I were playing baseball in the park it was my turn to pitch. I pitched the ball at Chad and he hit the ball and ran all four bases and made his touchdown. We pretended to have a sold out arena cheering us on. “It was now a close game chad 46 Matt 44 Next homerun wins. *Chad pitched the ball and I hit it and knocked it out of the park. I ran all four bases and got a Homerun “Your winner and undisputed baseball champion of the world MATT!” I said out loud. “Calm down.”  We it’s a tie 46 to 46. It started to rain “One more pitch? “No it’s raining. Fine. I said as we packed our stuff up and headed out to our bikes. We biked back up to the burger joint in town and sat down and had a couple of burgers. “You know it would be awesome if we made the baseball team this coming year. “Yeah we can we’re going to try out for it after all. I said. As we started to eat. “Don’t even bother you two moles are not Baseball material. Reggie said laughing. “Be quiet Reggie we can and we will. I said. “Oh yeah?” “Yeah.” I said. “Now Now settle down.” Teto said. He is the owner of the burger joint. “Can’t you play nice?”  “He started it. Reggie said laughing as he walked out. “Don’t let him bother you.” “You’re right besides we have a big day tomorrow. We’re meeting Stanly smith at the mall he’s one of the greatest baseball legends of all time. I said. “Yeah I remember sitting third row watching him. Boy those were the good old days. Teto said. “You saw Stanly play?” I asked. “Oh yeah many times he was a legend he came to your school too he autographed the gym wall. He’s really down to earth you will like him a lot.” Teto. Said.  Now I have to go set these Burgers down Have fun and make sure to let me know all about your day tomorrow.  We will I say to Teto.   Chapter two     I arrived home and put on dry clothes and walked back downstairs to see how my dad was doing my sister was at home watching TV in the family room. “I’m good are you ready to meet Stanley smith tomorrow?” My dad asked me. “I am so ready I made five touchdowns today with chad I can’t wait for baseball season to start up this year this is going to be my year.” “I love the enthusiasm you will do great son. My dad said. That night I could hardly sleep I was excited. I stared at the wall for several hours. Finally it was the next morning around 9 am. Chad came over and we got dressed. My dad drove us down to the mall. We saw a line of two hundred people in front of us. But we knew waiting would be worth it after all we were meeting a legend.  My dad told us he would be back in a while he was doing some shopping. We waited in line we saw Marie she waived to us she was about twenty people in front of us. “Are you excited?” “Yes” I called back to her as we continued to wait. Finally the time was coming we could see Stanley Smith. We were about twenty people away from him.  When I heard a scream we looked over a women in her eighties had fallen over and nobody was helping her up.  I ran out of line and helped her up and asked how she was doing? “She thanked me and another gentleman came over and thanked me and helped her away.  I turned back to the line and the people looked at me and pointed to the back of the line. *I sighed* and went to the back of the line.  When Stanley Smith’s manager came in front of the line and had said it’s getting late and Stanley needs to be at another place for a commercial. Needless to say chad got to meet Stanley and I did not. I didn’t feel too bad about it but I did feel kind of bad for missing him but I knew it was worth it for helping that lady out.  I had gotten towards the mall entrance when a hand touched my shoulder. I turned around it was Stanley Smith. “Hey you’re the kid who left my line to help that lady up?” “Yes” That was really cool of you. How would you like to star in a commercial with me?”
