Graduation

I stepped outside of the healers dorm building after making it all the way down from the top floor. I was wearing a graduation gown and I was quite excited as well as could not believe the fact that it had been 4 years already since I went through my Klitron process and became a healer.

today was the day that I was going to get my diploma for finishing my schooling, and after that all four of us will be going through the selection process to see which of noble houses that are in our region of the Terran Collective.

I was hoping that I would not end up being selected by some backwater world that would not find any good use for my healing talent.

whatever world I ended up being on would be decided today which made everything that I did today almost as important as that day four years ago.

I made my way to a massive building that had multiple floors and also had massive speakers on the outside of it since it was usually used as a concert hall but today it was used for graduation speeches since there were so many classes that were graduating today they needed multiple rooms.

"Danny over here. you sure took your sweet time trying to get here." I heard a very familiar male voice say to me.

it took me a minute to find where the voice was coming from. when I found out where it was I saw both Donovan and Frederick leaning up against one of the support columns on the outside of the building.

"where is Nova at?" I asked Frederick as I made my way through the crowd to where he was standing.

"no I have not seen her at all today". Frederick said.

"what about you Donovan?" I asked him since Frederick did not give me any kind of answer that I was looking for.

"no man unfortunately I have not seen her either I mean after all I would remember if I had seen that sexy ass of her's". Donovan said as he chuckled on his nose began to bleed.

"I asked you for your input on where she was not know about your perverted fantasies. all you can do is of it in a perverted way anyway. I mean she did choose me over you". I said with a giant grin across my face to Donovan so that he knew that no matter how much he wanted her she would belong to me as my equal.

"am I interrupting anything boys" I heard Nova's soft and soothing voice say as she hugged me which made Donovan show a bulging look of anger across his entire face.

"it was nothing baby". I said to her as I look deep in her eyes and then kissed her on the lips.

"you turning to get a room if you're going to do things like that. I don't think that I will be able to listen to another one of Donovan's pity party speeches about his jealousy over how deep your relationship seems to go". Frederick said is he pushed me away from Nova.

"hey baby there's something that I want to discuss with you when we are finished and getting our certificates of authenticity to prove that we are now full-fledged citizens of The Terran Collective". I told Nova as everyone began to walk into the building and I walked behind her.

when I made it inside I noticed that the area was like a lounge with a large variety of different types of chairs and tables for us to sit at while we waited on the head teachers to call each class to their respected rooms.

it only took a few moments for them to call out for the healer class and I made my way to the room that they had mentioned on the speaker behind everyone.

as I walked into the room I noticed that there was a stage against the rear wall and on that stage there were four metal chairs. the rest of the room was filled with a large variety of metal chairs for the audience.

my entire class walked on the left side of the room until we made it to the stage and then we all sit down in one of the chair.

after we all sit down and elderly lady stepped from the front row onto the stage and began to speak.

"welcome all students of the healer caste to the graduation of another class. take a look at them these are the four people who will be graduating today". she said that she turned around and looked at me as well as all of my classmates.

"for the former warrior turned healer Donovan we award him with the right to graduate as a healer. he proves that if you work at it you can succeed at almost anything."

Donovan stood up and took the certificate and a drone came in front of him to take pictures of him.

after that she gave Fredrick the master strategist award. then she gave me the award for master healer since I had discovered all of the vital healing areas of both the human body as well as the cyborg body faster than any other student in school history.

"finally we will be giving the award of the Victorian to Nova for having the highest grades in all her classes as well as having her give the graduation speech as the student council president for all four years that she was here." the elderly lady said as she handed Nova the diplomacy and after the pictures were taken she stepped down from the stage.

"hello everyone the main thing that I want to tell you is that as a healer of the taren Collective you must always remember that you were chosen and are now among the rare few. to ensure that you do not let the rarity of your talent as well as the power that comes with it go to your head you need to always remember that while we are a rare type of talent user as healers we are no gods. you will not get very far in life doing everything on your own.

so remember to lean on to your friends for help and advice in life so that you can enjoy every moment as a healer instead of being an arrogant healer that has no companions of any kind". Nova said is she walked back to her chair and sat down.

"that brings our graduation ceremony to a close look at what these four individuals have accomplished and allow their achievements to inspire you to get the most out of every moment here." the elderly lady said as she left the stage and began to walk out of the room.

after he left all of the other students came up and started talking to each of us for at least half of an hour.

as soon as the students had all finally left I took Nova by the hand and walked with her since I wanted to discuss something with her that was of the utmost importance to me and possibly her.

would she agree to what I was going to request or would she denied me of it only time would tell.
