Kai envelops me in a tight hug as soon as I enter his apartment. I clutch on the fabric of his shirt behind his back with my eyes closed. His one hand caresses the back of my head whereas the other stays firmly around my waist.
He sighs contently, “I missed you so much.”
I merely smile and a place a light kiss on his shoulder. He picks me up making me laugh. Pushing the door close, he leads me to the couch. He sits down with me on his lap and smiles softly. I lean down to meet his lips.
We just keep our lips on each other not doing anything. I smile, as and him multiple times. Looking in his eyes, I mouth, ‘I love you.’ He mouths back, ‘I love you too.’
