Chapter seventy three

I smile as I open the kitchen windows breathe in the fresh air. I stretch my back as I feel slight pain on the lower part. I turn around and start making breakfast. I am usually a salty and spicy breakfast person but today I’m craving something sweet. I decide on some pancakes and take out the mix. I catch a sight of the calendar on the refrigerator and sigh happily at the date. Four more days and I’ll be free. I won’t have to be scared anymore. I won’t be controlled or dominated. Though, the thought of Matthew’s reaction terrifies me, I am not going to back down. I can’t live with him anymore; it is too suffocating and miserable. I haven’t yet decided how I am going to say it to him but I know I will. I just don’t want him to have the slightest clue. I want him to be unprepared, so
