I park beside Kai’s car and gulp nervously. I know I’m taking a big risk. But for once I just want to live it and think about the consequences later.
Kai knocks on my window and gesture for me to step out. I pick my purse and get out of the car. He looks around the deserted parking lot.
“We should try to avoid people as much as we can.” He states and leads the way.
I follow him clutching onto the strap of my purse. As we take the elevator, I thank the heavens for it being completely empty.
