I led Diana out of the building and toward the school campus. The weather was growing warmer and warmer now that we were nearing the summer break. The graduation wasn’t too far away from us either, which meant the end of high school and the beginning of a new era for all of us.
When I was sure that we were alone and no eavesdroppers were around, I finally came to a stop and turned to face Diana. I could tell that she was growing impatient, but she had a good way of hiding it.
“Look… I owe you an apology,” I started, hoping to God that she wouldn’t try to interrupt me. “I’m sorry for you to run away on you like that. I guess I just… maybe I got scared when you kissed me… I don’t know. It’s all very confusing.” I sighed, running a hand through my hair miserably.
