Chapter Eleven

I had never gotten into a fight before, and nor did I think that ever would. Although one thing that I never expected would happen in a fist fight, was how much my knuckles hurt after he punch. They were even slightly bruised, probably just like how my face looked. But I was sure that I didn’t look even half as bad as Tommy, whose right eyes was now completely purple.      “Okay, get out, you two,” said the cop once we reached the police station and opened the backdoor for us. I sent on last look at Tommy, as if to remind him to remain quiet and so we got out.      Although the policemen didn’t even pay the slightest attention to us as they led us through the station. They only gritted their colleagues as we passed the hall, laughing and joking and patting each other on the back.
