Children's stories
In one place there was a selfish and greedy man named Damu. One day he lost his bag containing thirty gold coins. He searched a lot but could not find the guy. He was disappointed
Seeing that he was frustrated, his friend inquired about the matter. Damu told his friend that the gold coins were missing. His friend was an honest and kind man. The friend's name was Ramu. The search for the coin began to help Ramu Damu.
After some investigation, Ramu got a bag containing Damu's coins.
Ramu went to Damu with his bag. Damu was happy. Damu opened the bag and counted the coins. There were thirty gold coins in it. Then the greedy Damu told Ramu. "Oh my friend, there were forty gold coins in it. Now there are only thirty coins in it. Did you take the rest of the coins?"
"There were so many coins in that bag. I never took anything out of it." Ramu said sadly. But Damu did not admit it. They argued with each other. In the end the dispute went to the senior judge.
They both went to a judge. Then he told the judge what had happened. The judge sat in a trance for some time. After that he asked Damu. "Are you sure you have forty gold coins in your bag?" Said the greedy Damu. "Yes, there were forty gold coins in that bag." Upon hearing this, the judge asked Ramu. "Did you take the coins out of this bag?" Ramu said sadly. "I do not knowI did not take it. I had only thirty coins in my hand. "
After a while, the judge told Damu. "You said you had forty coins in your bag, but this bag has thirty coins. So this bag will not be yours. I'm giving this bag to Ramu. I hope you get your bag as soon as possible."
So greedy Damu bowed his head in shame. The benevolent Ramu received thirty gold coins.
If Damu had not gone for greed, he would have got back the lost gold coins.
