Chapter 1
Malaysia, a bright and bubbly college student, sat in the campus café with her four closest friends. Lysa, the quiet and reserved one, sipped on a latte, while Dylan, the charming jock, devoured a sandwich. Bysha, the quirky artist, doodled in her sketchbook, and Huda, the sharp-witted brainiac, studied for an upcoming exam. The group had been inseparable since freshman year, sharing countless memories, laughter, and tears. But little did they know, their friendship was about to be put to the test. As the group chatted, a newcomer caught their attention. His name was Ryder, a transfer student with piercing blue eyes and chiseled features. Malaysia, being the friendly one, immediately welcomed Ryder to their table. Lysa, however, seemed hesitant, observing Ryder from afar. Dylan, ever the charmer, tried to impress Ryder with his athletic prowess. Bysha, intrigued by Ryder's mysterious aura, began to sketch him. Huda, meanwhile, analyzed Ryder's academic background, impressed by his intellect. As Ryder effortlessly integrated into their group, Malaysia couldn't help but feel drawn to him. But she wasn't the only one... As the days went by, Malaysia found herself spending more time with Ryder. They bonded over their shared love of literature and music. Lysa, noticing Malaysia's growing closeness to Ryder, began to feel uneasy. One evening, as they studied together in the library, Ryder accidentally brushed his hand against Malaysia's. The touch sent shivers down her spine. Ryder, too, felt a spark of attraction. Dylan, oblivious to the tension, teased Malaysia about her "study buddy." Bysha, sensing the chemistry between Malaysia and Ryder, smiled knowingly. Huda, lost in her own thoughts, didn't notice the subtle exchange. As the library closed, Ryder walked Malaysia home, the crisp night air filled with an unspoken tension. They lingered outside her dorm, reluctant to part ways. "I had a great time tonight, Malaysia," Ryder said, his eyes locking onto hers. Malaysia's heart skipped a beat. "I did too, Ryder." As they stood there, the world around them melted away, leaving only the promise of something more...
