Darcy stared at her reflection in the mirror as she applied the finishing touches of the sparkly pink lip gloss Maggie was known for wearing. After her shopping trip on Saturday, she had spent the better part of the weekend trying to master Maggie’s makeup routine. Maggie had been applying her makeup for so long that she was a pro, and Darcy knew it would be a tough act to follow. She figured as long as she could do it well enough, no one would be suspicious. Like Topher, Darcy wasn’t a fan of Maggie’s use of makeup to hide her scars, but Darcy also knew that explaining the scars wasn’t something she was prepared to do, either.
