Katie took aim and tossed the last ring toward the metal pin, which Durante casually pushed with his foot until it was in the right position to catch her throw. The man running the booth stared at the ten rings, all circling their respective targets and shook his head in disbelief. He knew Katie, she’d been playing his game, badly, for years.
