ANOTHER HELLISH DAY Xing Su tried taking another step but couldn't.. " You will have to be strong," chu chu replied. " Move it" one of the guards behind chu chu said, pushing her. Xing Su stood still not moving an inch , the man got to her and pushed her , before he wiped her. " I said move it ," he shouted whipping Xing Su again The moment they wiped landed on Xing's back , it felt like a quick electric shock. A loud and painful scream tore from her throat. At this very moment all Xing could tell herself was to be brave , she had to be brave. " I can do it, " she muttered . Taking a step ahead , but her legs betrayed her. Immediately , she lost balance and fell down hitting her head on a very big rock. Chu Chu quickly helped her up , placing her hand on her forehead she found out that she was bleeding badly. " You have to be strong , please you have to " chu chu pleaded as they kept on moving. At each step , xing took she could feel her whole body shaking and she could feel a sharp pain hitting her head so hard and bad. XU KAI'S CHAMBER. Xu kai leaned back in his chair , he flipped through some documents on his table. His door slightly opened and Lee Wu came into view . He tiptoed as he was coming into Xu Kai's inner study room Without even looking up , Xu Kai slowly removed the pin from his hair , swiftly the pin across. " What the …. " Lee wu gasped out holding his chest with his hand. " You almost took my life, " he sighed, sitting down . " Why the disturbance?" Xu Kai asked, still not getting his face up . " I came to check up on you, actually your father , his majesty sent for you" Xu Kai sighed standing up, from the look on his face , he didn't want to step an inch from his study room. He slowly dropped the book he had with him and walked away. KING'S CHAMBER The King, Xu fen , his mistress , Xioa chi and her son , Xu Fen were all seated having their breakfast. " I thought I made it clear never be late for breakfast " The king shouted hitting his hand on the table " Am sorry " Xu Kai muttered and the king rolled his eyes. The maids quickly dish out Xu Kai's food,his gaze and interest weren't on the food . " I wonder why you always get to disobey your father, " Xu Fen muttered and Xu kai shut him a dangerous glare. " Why the glare huh? Don't forget I am older than you. " " Wish your brains were also older, " Xu Kai replied. " You….." " Shut it , you both! " The king shouted, hitting his hand on the table. " I'm done , the breakfast tastes awful " Xu Kai said, pushing his plate forward . " Don't you dare " the King said pointing at Xu Kai while he rolled his eyes walking away. " This rotten brat " he sighed sitting down. " Easy honey " chi said rubbing the king's back " he's really growing wings , I think it's the right time you cut it off " she muttered giving a devious smile. " Your Majesty, " A guard shouted outside . The king looked at his assistant and he went outside to receive the message . He quickly came inside , he bowed his head before he told the king what the message was all about . " They are back " The king's assistance said with a smile and the king nodded As Xu Kai was walking into his chamber , he ment Hi Cheng with his men . " Your highness" he bowed and Xu Kai nodded to his greetings walking away. Prison Yard Xing slowly opened her eyes, her vision very blurry, as tears rolled down her cheeks. " Ahh ouch!" She groaned bitterly and slowly bit her lips hard. She groaned as she stood up holding her head . " Ouch , my head is hurting me " she said closing her eyes tight due to the unbearable pain " Am so sorry , you must be hungry " chu chu said, handing her over a mashed potato. " I'm dehydrated" she said with so much pain in her voice. She took the water that chu chu gave her and gulped down everything. The guards came and opened the prison door. " Bring out the young girls " One of the guard was looking a bit huge said and Xing swallowed nothing The guards dragged the few selected young girls out . Xing's heartbeat increased as she saw a branding iron . They were putting marks on the slaves body . " No!!!!!!!!" Xing screamed loudly as she saw them put it on another slave. She started breathing heavily ,as she passed out. " Seriously ?" The man branding the mark said seeing the way she fainted just seeing the branding iron " Xing ! Xing!" Chu Chu shouted, rushing her. " Just bring her over " the man said holding the branding iron with his left hand " Huh?? Right now" chu chu asked and the man nodding Chu chu carried Xing to the front , feeling the fire heat , Xing quickly opened her eyes. " Ahhhhhhhh" Xing shouted as she ran off " Hey ! , Hey , get back here " the man shouted running after Xing " Xing ,Xing " Chu Chu shouted going after them Xing kept running as fast as her legs could carry. she wasn't sure of where she was going or where the road would lead her to , but one thing is for sure . She didn't want to have that mark on her body. Xing rushed into a room and shut the door behind her . She stared around the room , the room had a royal appearance. She sighed softly, noticing that the man had lost her. Finally she wasn't going to get that mark on , at least not now . She swallowed as she saw a tempting meal on the table . She salivated looking around , checking out for the one but she found none. She took a step one after the other to the table , she smiled as the scent filled her nostrils. She quickly grabbed the chicken with one word and a jar of wine . She kept eating fast and nasty , eating and drinking at the same time . " Yummy " she smiled while drinking the wine " wow ! Taste totally different from the ones I have had, she smiled and giggled at the jar of wine. She started grabbing fruits from different bowls , putting them all in her mouth. " Uhh , so fresh, " she muttered as she drank the wine . " Huh?? It's finished already " she sighed throwing the jar of wine away " Ouch " A voice winced from the back She turned with her eyes open , dropping the new wine bar and the chicken on the floor. " And what type of animal was brought into my room? " Xu kI shouted . " I was … I was about leaving" she stammered , cleaning her hands on her clothes . She smiled, taking a few steps to leave, Xu Kai dragged her by the collar and pulled her back. " You know I can get your head cut off right now " Xu Kai said taking a few steps to her , Xing gulped down as she took a few steps backwards , making her hit her back on the wall. " But I thought we're friends?? " She giggled, clinging her hand on his neck . " Friends with a thief " he scoffs, dragging her out . Immediately he opened the door and pushed her out , Xing bumped into Chu Chu and the branding man . " Xing , Xing " Chu Chu said, hugging her tight " I thought I lost you " she sighed, rubbing her hand on her back. " You rotten brat, " the man shouted as he was breathing heavily. " Good morning your Highness " he bowed . " Your highness ? " Xing Su said, staring at Xu Kai. So these are the people responsible for the death of her family and kingdom . She thought inwardly. " Next time try caging your animals well " Xu Kai rolled his eyes closing his door. The man sighed in frustration as he dragged Xing Su out . " Ahhhhhhhh, help me " Xing Su shouted as she pulled her way. " Nooo…. please don't ….!!!!" She kept in screaming loud. Kai scoffed and rolled his eyes as he watched them from the window. He went to his study room and sat flipping through his book. He sighed and dropped it heavily on the table. " So many nuisances in this palace" he groaned and placed his head on his table.
