The boss lady

Today was one of those days where I just wanted to stay away from everyone, just be by self and not be bothered. I hate being put on the spot light,I want to live my life by my own rules. You know what happened today? ok let me tell you. I was working as usual when my step mother who loves me-not, called me telling me about her daughter finding herself a good guy and getting married in two months time. Good news right? Unfortunately not for me because they decided that me being the oldest, ditched on the wedding day and a single mom,( not my words,hers,.but unfortunately true) they have found a suitable guy for me and he is ready to settle down on the same day her daughter was getting married. I couldn't believe it, the nerve of that woman,so me being me hating to be bossed around I said.... "Oh how nice of you to think of me,but you see am already married, my son has a father." my big mouth got me into trouble because........ "Oh really ? I believe we are going to meet with him next week Sunday then, you will come home with him to introduce him to us, right.oh your father is going to be so happy for his princess." She said using my dad to make sure that I go to that stupid dinner. "You better believe it,we will be there.bye Stephanie." I said dropping the phone. How can someone be this irritatingly fake. Wait! Now wasn't a good time to think about my annoying step mother, I said I had a husband. Dang! how can I say something like that. Now where was I going to get a husband from. ****************** I had been driving around for a while now,I didn't know where I was going exactly but I knew what I was looking for. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing "Dad hello how are you doing today?" I said as cheerful as I could get. "Liza is it true that you are married, your mother says she has been speaking with you.? " oh that,I wish I could tell him that I was on the mission of finding myself a good looking husband at that moment. "Yes daddy that's true but can we talk later,am kind of doing something really important right now. I call you back?" I said looking out of the car window and rolling it down. "Ok no problem talk to me soon." And with that I packed the car and went out,.I walked into the food store and came out with the things that I needed. I looked around a bit and saw a homeless guy who looked to be in his late twenties,he was wearing some worn out clothes in the cold weather but he was clean,not the 'bathing every day' clean but the ' I may not bath every day but am clean' clean. I am not sure if am making sense. He was standing alone and smoking his cigarette,he was tall, not thin but not fat too,he looked like he had some muscles. He was rather handsome with his strong jawline,. He turned his head towards me and his blue eyes were beautiful. He looked like he hasn't shaved for some time but he still looked good. I walked up to him and greeted,but he looked at me like I had just grown a second head,but quickly composted himself,. "Ah hi, can I help you with anything?" he asked looking down at me,. "No you can't,but I can, so let's walk to the car and talk,I don't want people to see us together in public."I said indifferently, he looked at me for a second then nodded his head and followed me to the car. "Tell me why are you on the streets, don't you have a family?" I asked and he shook his head lightly and......... "Why did you call me here,say what you want and leave,"he was getting annoyed with me. "Mind your tone mister, I need your help,you might think that I am crazy but I am desperate,...ok.... so here is the deal.... I uhm........ need you to pretend to be my uhm... husband for a year,by the end of it you will get $1 million and a fully furnished house." By the time I finished,I began to really think that there was another head growing on me. "Do you even know what you are saying, listen her Ms whoever you are, I think the only thing that you need is to drive your beautiful car and go to hell." "What have you got to loose, you have nothing already,I will give you a good paying job,a place to stay and have whatever you need, you know how cold it is around here at this time of the year,. just think about it and let me know but my over stands until a day after tomorrow,here my number.bye Mr." He took the paper with my numbers and left,.he did look pissed in the beginning but soften up a little, may he was tempted but I guess I will wait for his call. I got home a little bit early but it's a good thing because I would get to spend some time with my boy. "Mommmmy,." as soon as I stepped inside,he came flying down the stairs with his babysitter hot on his heels,I swear this boy never gets tired,. We spent the rest of the day together and I put him in his bed and went to my room. I cleaned up really quick because it was so cold,. I got in bed and sighed softly and closed my eyes.
