I sneaked another glance at her angry form in the passenger seat, the events that transpired tonight have totally angered all of us.
Emily received the bare minimum punishment and got to keep her position in the company all just because she is pregnant with an Alpha pup.
“She walked out free,” Alice said finally, her voice low and sharp, trembling with restrained anger. “Just because she’s pregnant with an Alpha pup. That’s it. That’s all it took.”
“I know,” I said quietly.
Her eyes shot toward me, full of frustration. “Leonard, she controlled people, humans, my team, my company. She took everything I built and twisted it, and now she gets to walk out untouched. And the Council, they let her.”
