CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE Brandon got to Seven’s office at LX Energy fifteen minutes later to find Seven overlooking scattered documents at his desk. “Hey, man.” Seven took off his reading glasses, smiling. “What are you doing back here?” Brandon held his breath, shifting his weight from one leg to the other. “I was hoping working late would be enough time to finish these reports.” Seven sat back, chuckling. “Glad to have your company.” Brandon strolled inside the office. “Don’t tell anyone but being here in this big building alone creeps me the hell out.” Seven flipped through a stapled document. “What can I do for you?” Brandon walked around the Italian-style table made of glass and mahogany wood. “You’re freaking me out.” Seven put down the papers. “You got something to say or not?”
