CHAPTER FIFTEEN
“Very impressive, Mr. Gill.” Kaya tapped her chin. “You managed a strike and have only been bowling since you were a kid.” She glared with sarcasm, snatching a ball. “I’m not impressed.”
“Oh, really?” He grabbed her by the waist, tickling. “Not impressed, huh?”
“Stop.” She bent her body in various ways to thwart his mission. “Brandon!” She guffawed, losing her grip on the ball. “Stop!”
“Nope. Apologize.”
She dropped the ball, shrieking from the humorous torture. “Okay!” She lifted her hand, choking from laughter. “I apologize. Stop it!”
The people from the next lane grinned at them.
“Jerk.” Kaya straightened her blouse. “I knocked pins down my first time. I’m better than you are.” She danced in place. “How you like them apples?”
