CHAPTER THREE With his arms locked around her waist, Seven shoved Kaya into the living room of her one-story, brick home. They exchanged sloppy kisses, twirling each other toward the wall. “I don’t know what it is about you that makes me do things I never would.” Kaya pushed her tongue deeper into his warm mouth, tasting the flavor of pecan pie. “I can’t control how much I want you.” Seven moaned, capturing her mouth in his. “I’ve never experienced this before.” “My p***y’s going crazy.” Wetness seeped from between Kaya’s legs. “Get inside me.” She kissed him, nibbling his lip. “Now.” Seven turned her toward the wall and pushed her face against the white plaster. “Yes.” Kaya gyrated. “Take this p***y, Seven. I’m so wet.” “Is it mine?” He held her dress up, and this time didn’t have to worry about panties since he’d destroyed them earlier. “Mm.” He delivered tender kisses to her ass, put on another condom and slid inside her. Kaya bit her tongue from the impact of his entrance. He held her buttocks open, f*****g her at an upward angle. “Right there.” Kaya whimpered, her breasts rubbing against the wall as Seven pumped. He chuckled, his fingernails pressing into her ass. “You like it?” “Course I do,” she squealed from pleasure and pain. “It’s like my body was made for you.” “I don’t want this to be...oh. Just sex.” She jerked, surprised by his declaration. “You’re special, Kaya.” He moved his hands to her waist, working her p***y. “I don’t want this to be just for one night.” **** “Well.” Kaya rolled off Seven an hour later, breathless and sweaty. “Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better.” He laughed, settling his naked body beside her on the ashen-gray carpet of her living room. “That was the best s*x I ever had.” “Stop lying.” She pushed her damp bangs out her eyes. “I’m sure the worst s*x you’ve had could put me to shame.” “Nope.” He placed his large hand over her breast, massaging it. “God, it smells good in here. Like vanilla, pine and watermelon. Where is that coming from?” She pointed to the off-white cabinet beside her TV that she kept filled with candles. “Hm.” He lifted his head, inhaling. “I could drown in that smell. Why you got so many candles?” “I’ve always loved candles.” She caressed his toned abs, which had a slight outline of a six-pack. “My dad used to collect them. I love how different scents make me feel. Fragrances do wonders for emotions. Just lighting a candle can make you happy on a dreary day.” “That’s beautiful.” He batted his eyes slow. “Can we have s*x again? Did I tell you how great it was?” “You did.” She pinched his n****e. “It was great because we’re not attached. Isn’t it funny how good s*x is when there are no strings?” “Nah.” His lips drooped as if he were disappointed. “It would be better if we were attached.” He kissed her, licking her lips afterward. “Hm.” She tucked her arm underneath her head. “Something on your mind?” Her eyes wandered to the entertainment stand with her flat screen and stereo system. “At the museum, I got the feeling us meeting was planned. And, when we got here you said you wanted this to be more than one night.” She propped up on her elbows. “Did you set me up?” “No, but I’ve been a fan of yours for a while and I hoped to get close to you.” She chewed her bottom lip, contemplating his claim. “You tricked me.” “No, I didn’t.” “I thought it was spontaneous.” “What’s the difference?” He scratched his head. “Even if I sought you out, I couldn’t have planned this, Kaya. I can’t make you be attracted to me.” “It wasn’t honest though.” She shrugged. “How do I know this isn’t a game you do with all women?” “No.” He lifted his finger. “You’re special, Kaya. I became attracted to you through your art. I’ve had a crush on you since I first saw your work.” She turned her head away. “I like people to be upfront.” “I’m doing that now.” He touched her lips. “I care about you. I don’t want this to be a one-night stand.” She lay over with his words settling in her head. “Guess I should be flattered, huh? A rich guy like you who’d go through all that trouble to meet me?” “I’m not the prize here.” He kissed her black n****e, the creases around his eyes deepening. “One day your work will be in museums all over the world.” She chuckled, wiggling her toes. “You’re destined for great things, Kaya.” He kissed her, caressing her cheek. “I don’t doubt it and you shouldn’t either.” “What’s this hold you have on me?” She cuddled in his arms. “I don’t sleep with men like this. I’m usually so cautious with everything I do.” “Doesn’t that prove a point?” She pushed her fingers between his. “This was meant to be.” He stroked her shiny hair. “Me buying your work and meeting you, it was all fate.” “Buying my work?” “I bought Moon Glow, your first commercial painting.” She gasped. “What?” “It was the first work I saw of yours and I had to have it.” A warm sensation came over her. “Seven.” “When I got it, I imagined how happy you’d be that you sold it. It’s in my office at LX Energy. Everyone fell in love with it.” “That means you were my first.” He rubbed her nose with his. “I hope to be your last.” She kissed him. “Can’t believe I’m lying on my living room floor, naked with a Prescott. God, my friend Holly’s gonna trip. Me with the heir of LX Energy.” She giggled. He swept her into his arms. “The one who can’t believe it, is me.”
