ALARIC
I found myself getting drawn to her each passing second I spent with her.
I was initially furious and aggressive when I had promised to come back for her and get her by all means, but right now, it was as though my temper had suddenly gone away.
I couldn't get myself to shout at her anymore, even though I tried. It was just difficult.
I placed a hand above her shoulders as I beheld her fearful eyes in mine. She trembled in panic at my every touch, and I just sensed that she was still being skeptical about me because of the things I had said earlier.
I was not comfortable watching her remain that way. “Relax, Mooncrest. I'm not here to harm you.” I said to her as calmly as possible, hoping that would do the magic, but it only ended up worsening the situation.
