Aileen’s POV
“Aileen, why are you so upset?” it was Dad. We were at the Annual Alpha meeting, which will start after about half an hour. All the Alphas and Lunas were presented except one in the invitee’s list.
Leon! Leon was the only Alpha who wasn’t presented here.
He promised to be here after the meeting, but he was not. I tried him hundreds of times, and he was not answering the calls. Now the mobile is switched off.
“Dad, Leon promised me that he would be here, and now his mobile was switched off” I was sitting on a stair where the main hall and the dining area separated. My eyes were moistened.
“Aileen, we know how much he is working hard for his success, and this is not only for him but for both of your futures. Be patient, never mind if he can’t come, let’s try next time” Da
