"I didn't know his parents were here, Gloria. If my parents were alive, they would surely be very happy with their grandchildren. I don't know them; I can't judge them without knowing them. What if they're just like him? What if they love them? How can I deny my children the chance to meet their grandparents? The way he spoke to me, it sounds like they're desperate to meet them.
