53 Since we both had cars and I wanted to talk to Cole briefly before we met with Mary, I suggested we meet at a Starbucks near her house. Cole was groggy in my office and out of it when I left. I needed reassurance in the light of day that he still agreed to our bargain. He arrived shortly after I did with a smile on his face which I took as a positive indication. He looked clean with clear eyes and his pupils were normal sized. His face and body had regained its normal shape prior to his coma.
