“You’re late and…oh my God.” Charlie stared at Jace in shock when he finally appeared in the scene shop around ten on Tuesday morning.
Jace grinned, rubbing one hand over his shaved head. “What do you think?
Charlie studied him for a moment before nodding. “I actually like it. It makes you sexy. What the hell brought this on?”
“Liam.”
“As in he suggested it, or he did it?”
With a sly look, Jace replied, “We did it. Oh, you mean the hair, don’t you?”
“I did, but hey, congratulations. Right?”
“Oh, definitely.” Jace laughed when some of his crew came over and stopped dead.
“You’re…missing something,” Pat said. “Like hair. Nice.”
“You look younger,” Rob told him, smiling in approval. Or Jace hoped it was approval. “Gonna keep it like that? Because it’s a good look for you.
