Chapter 20

Bella let met drive since she's never been here before, I told her I could give her the directions to the Cullens. But of course she said, "no, just drive I might still get us lost."

I chuckled some when I got in the driver side. When I was about 5 minutes away, I saw Bella tapping her leg. I put my hand on her leg to get her to stop. She looked at me after a few seconds when she had noticed my hand.

"What?" She had asked.

"I can tell your nervous Bells."

"Me nervous, nah." Bella said with a small snort.

I just chuckled a little bit before pulling down their long ass drive way. Bella was in awe when she saw the drive way but when we got to the house she was amazed by it.

When I parked the truck in front of the front door, Edward was standing on the little porch when I pulled up.

"Hey," I said as I got out of the truck.

"Hey, did you find the place okay?" Edward asked me as he helped Bella out of the truck.

"Yea, if she drove no." I said with a small chuckle. "Oh here," I said as I handed Edward his phone back.

"Oh, yeah. I forgot." He said as he reached in his back pocket. "This is for you. From all of us." Edward said handing me a small box.

I opened it up and saw there was a smartphone in it. I took it out as I looked up at Edward.

"You know you don't have to do this." I told him.

"I know but I well we wanted too. And the bill is on us so don't worry about it. Rose was the phone that picked out the phone."

"Speaking of Rose, is she here?" I had asked.

"Sadly no. I'm the only one here. Carlisle got called into surgery and the girls went to the shop and my brothers well they went hunting." Edward said.

I nodded my head at him as we all walked into the house. We went to the living room and sat down and hung out and watched tv. Well we didn't really watch tv. Bella and Edward talked some while me, I was looking at the phone. Trying to figure it out some. When I went to put Bella's, mom's, both house phones, Jake's and Embry's numbers in, I noticed I had all the Cullen's numbers. Every single one of them.

"Oh, so whose idea was to put everyone's number into the phone?" I asked.

"Rose and Emmett. Rose was putting hers in along with mine when Emmett said just put all of ours just in case you need to get ahold of one of us." Edward said.

"Ah, well I'm changing ur name." I said laughing some. And saying the name in my head as I changed his name.

"Really Eddy boy?" Edward said with a snort.

Bella chuckled some as she patted his leg. I stuck out my tongue towards him as I put my now new phone and my pocket when I got up.

"Ima find the bathroom." I said then walked out of the room.

"It's down the hall to your right." Edward said as I went down the hall.

Once I found the bathroom, I hurried up and peed and washed my hands. When I got out, I heard a noise. I didn't think nothing to it until I heard it again so I started to head to where it was.

Thinking I'm in a vampire house, I'm gonna hear anything. As I hit the end of the hall I didn't really see anything until I saw Emmett coming out of a room.

"Oh lord, it's just you." I said as I put my hand over my heart.

"Yeah, who else would it be?" He asked with a smile.

"Well I heard some noise and I knew it wasn't Edward and Bella." I said.

"Naw, it was just me."

"Oh, what was you doing?" I asked.

"I was putting up some stuff in the storage room."

"Oh. Where's Jasper." I asked.

"In his room. He can't be around anyone right now. He's still new to being what we are."

"Oh," I said.

"Yeah, Carlisle tries to help him with it. We all do. At school, that's why he's always in a classroom with at least one of us. Mostly Alice though." Emmett told me.

I nodded at him. "Naw, I get it. Well I better get back to those two. Bella's probably wondering where I'm at."

"Edward probably told her you're talking to me."

"Yeah. I mostly came here to see Rose and your mother. But I guess I'll get them next time." I said then walked away.

When I went back into the living room, Bella looked over at me.

"Do you mind if we leave? I'm sorry I mostly came here for your sister and mother."

"Naw, it's fine. It's getting late and don't want your father to worry."

"Yeah, we don't want that do we Kat." Bella said.

I shook my head at her and went to the front door. When I walked out, I looked up at the sky and saw how it look twilight out. The moon was full and the sky was perfect. There were some cloud out but not much. And the stars, it was beautiful. Picture perfect moment.

When Bella and Edward came out, he walked us to the truck and opened the door for Bella and stood there talking to her a little bit. Once I got in, I shut the door, put my seatbelt on and started up the truck. As the two lovebirds were talking, something caught my eye to the left of me. When I looked, it was Jasper. He was standing at the window. I, of course, waved at him and he nodded his head at me.

As I was looking up at Jasper, the truck moved from Edward shutting the door of the truck for Bella. Bella touched my hand to tell me I could go. I looked over at her then Edward and smiled.

“Goodnight, Eddy Boy.” I said driving off.

Bella chuckled at me after I drove off from the Cullen’s.

It was quiet on the way back home. Which was good for me because I didn’t really want to talk. I was never the one to talk while driving. It was distracting. But we spoke a few times on the way home. And by the time we got home, Jacob and Billy were walking out of the house with Charlie standing at the door.

Bella walked over to Jacob as me, I went inside the house after saying goodnight and goodbye to them. I was tired and was wanting the bed.

When I got up stairs, I changed clothes then went into my room and fell on the bed. And just like I had said, I was beyond tired.

The weekend was here and gone. Now tomorrow starts a whole new week of school. School. I’m just ready for school to be over with already.
