Chapter 19

Hours after hanging out all together at the beach, it was starting to get late and cool out. Well more cooler than it was earlier. Jacob, Embry, and I went back to Jacob's place and hung out there til Charlie got back so I could go home.

I mean I was having fun hanging out with the gang but I was getting tired and it was late. I could call Bella to come get me but she's probably busy with Edward doing who knows what.

When we got back to the house, Jacob turned the tv on and put in a dvd of some comedy with Adam Sandler. I think he said it was bedtime stories. I've seen it a few times. Where he tells two kids bedtime stories and they come to life the next day.

Jacob made popcorn for all of us and Embry got us sodas to drink along with the popcorn. Once all that was settled, Jacob pushed play on the movie. Embry and I sat on the couch together. I was leaning against him taking over most of the couch while Jacob was in the armchair.

About half way through the movie, I started to fall asleep against Embry. I don't know how long I was out but I guess I was out for the count because the next thing I know was waking up in Charlie's bed the next morning.

When I woke up, I looked at the alarm clock and saw it was 10am. I groaned as I rolled over for a second then got up. I went to the bathroom to pee then went into Bella's room to see if she was awake or even home. When I saw she wasn't in there I went downstairs. As I walked down the steps, I saw there wasn't anyone inside the house.

"Hmm, Charlie and Bella must've left and gone somewhere." I said out loud as I went to the fridge to get something to drink.

As I closed the door, I heard water running. I looked around to see where it was coming from. It was coming from outside. So I walked to the door and saw Bella washing the truck.

"Oh you are here?" I said.

"Yeah, since it was nice out some I thought I'd wash the truck. Charlie's at work I think. He was gone when I woke up." Bella said.

"Oh." I said.

As we were talking, Edward hopped on the truck scaring Bella and me some.

“Could you act normal, I do have neighbors.” Bella told Edward.

"I see your awake." Edward said.

"Yeah." I said rubbing my eye. "What time did I even come home?"

"Bella was already asleep when you and Charlie got home. He had to carry you inside from the truck." Edward said.

"Oh god. What time was that?"

"Ummm, about 9pm." Edward said smirking some.

"What?" I asked.

"Oh nothing."

"No tell me."

"What Charlie was thinking last night made me laugh."

"And what was that?" I had asked.

"He was thinking how when him and Billy walked in the house you were asleep in some boys lap and both boys were passed out as well. Charlie was thinking how messed up that was and that how he had to carry you like a child." Edward chuckled.

"Oh god." I said as I put my hand over my face.

"You could've called. I would've came and got you." Bella said.

"Oh she thought that." Edward said.

"Hey, out of my head Mr. I'm too tired for your crap." I said with a chuckle.

"Ain't like we were doing anything really. Well we went on a hike after you guys left. Edward showed me this cute meadow." Bella said.

"That's where I had wore your sister out." Edward said with a smile. "As we got back she had made dinner and ate then she crashed on me talking."

"Sorry."

"No, it's cool." Edward said as he looked down at the truck.

When I saw him look down, I saw the dent from where Tyler had hit the truck. Edward reached over and popped it back out.

"Thanks." Bella told him.

"How about I bring you guys over to the house. Rose is begging you to come back over. And I can introduce you to the family." Edward told us.

"Like everyone?" Bella asked.

"Hey they're all great."

"To you maybe. But I see the looks that they give me in school. Especially your one sister."

"Rose is Rose. She's cool once you get to know her." Edward said.

"Actually, yeah. I'll come over. I have some stuff to show her anyways." I said as a black car was pulling up.

Edward looked where I had looked then looked back at us. His whole face structure had changed.

"Well I got to go." Edward said.

"Why?" Bella asked as I could see who was driving.

"The wolves are here." Edward said.

"Huh?" Bella said as Edward ran to the car and drove off.

That's when Billy and Jacob had pulled up where he was just parked. Then a short moments later Charlie had pulled up in good timing.

"Oh." Bella said as she looked at me.

I smiled a little when she said that.

Jacob got out of the car and helped Billy out into his wheelchair and pushed him our way as Charlie was getting out of the cruiser with RNR.

"Hey guys." I called out.

"Hey," Billy and Jacob said.

"Oh I see you got that dent out." Jacob had said.

"Yeah." Bella said. You come to see your truck or what?"

"Naw, come to see your flat screen tv. Huge manners game tonight." Billy said as Jacob pushed him towards the stairs. "How's the case going Charlie?" Billy asked.

"It's going. Still trying to find leads. This it's random animals attacks. Do you mind telling the kids to stay out of the woods back home."

"Sure will." Billy said as he looked at us. "Need to keep these people safe from all harm."

"Duly noted." Charlie said as he pushed Billy up the stairs.

Bella and I looked at each other after Billy was staring us down.

Thanks to Jacob pushing me some, both Bella and I lost our focus on what was being said.

"So dad and Charlie caught us passed the hell out last night." Jacob said.

"Yeah, I heard." I said.

"Yeah, dad said Charlie's eyes popped out when he saw how you were lying all over Embry."

"I remember leaning against him as we were watching the movie. But after I crashed everything was a blank." I said as I moved a piece of my hair.

"Hey least he's not grounding you." Bella said as she was rinsing the truck off.

"True." I said.

"I do know, Embry was loving it because he had whispered my name to tell me to look at you and you were all in his lap."

I started blushing. "Oh god, kill me." I said as I went up the stairs. "So after you're gone washing the truck you want to head over there?" I asked Bella.

"Yeah." Bella said.

I nodded at her then went inside with Jacob following.

"Where yall going?" He asked.

"Over to the Cullen. I want to show Edward's sisters and mother some of my stuff in fashion." I said as I went to the stairs.

I went up to our room to get dressed. Once I got dressed, Bella had came into the room and changed her clothes as well. Once we were both done, we went back downstairs and told Charlie we were leaving that we will be back before dark.

He told us to be careful and to drive safe, that it was supposed to storm later. I rolled my eyes at what he had said as Bella grabbed the trucks keys off the counter and I grabbed my backpack then we were off to the Cullen's house.
