In a desperate bid to save her father, Laura reluctantly accepts a job offer from the wealthy Brown family in her town. Little did she know, the position entails becoming the substitute wife to the only son of the Brown family, Andrew Alexander Brown.

Andrew's girlfriend, Agatha, lies in a coma after a tragic accident that claimed her parents' lives. With no sign of awakening, Agatha remains unable to marry, having lost her family forever.

From a humble roadside flower seller, Laura transforms into Mrs. Brown at social events, only to revert to a mere servant to Agatha at home.

But when a twist of fate entangles Laura and Andrew in forbidden emotions, their bond deepens. Their dilemma worsens as Agatha unexpectedly wakes from her coma.

Andrew faces an agonizing decision—choosing between his true love and releasing Laura, who has already secured a place in his heart. Forced into a tough choice, Andrew's decision becomes even more complicated when Laura reveals she has suffered a miscarriage.

Separated, with a baby Andrew never knew existed still nestled in his wife's womb, their story takes a heart-wrenching turn.

Follow Laura's journey from a humble flower seller to the center of a poignant tale filled with love, loss, and unexpected twists.

PART 1
PART 1 "Have you found the girl?" A woman's voice was heard as the door opened. Sen, the man nearing forty years old, nodded. He knew this task had to be completed quickly, or he would face the wrath of his employer. "Yes, Mrs. Lana. Just as you wanted. Miss Laura is already waiting in Mr. Andre's office." The man nodded respectfully. The smile on Mrs. Lana's face widened. The way out was already in sight. "Great, I will meet her shortly. Please give her some drinks and snacks, so she won't be shocked later when she finds out what job we're offering her." The company must fall into the hands of my son! Andrew deserves it. He's smart and educated. "Alright, Mrs. I'll take my leave then." "Wait, Sen." Sen's movement to turn around was forcibly halted. "Is there anything else you need, Mrs.?" The man asked again. His attempts to grasp the door handle had failed. "Has she found out about the job you're offering?" Lana inquired. Sen shook his head. "No, Mrs. I haven't told her anything yet." Besides, he wouldn't dare. It wasn't his authority, was it? "Good." Lana was satisfied with his answer. "But do you think she'll agree?" Lana asked her trusted assistant with a doubtful expression. After all, this was a job unlike any other. It wasn't normal, she had to admit. "I'm sure she'll agree. Her father got into a fight and is now hospitalized. She needs a considerable amount of money. Laura has to get her father out of there, and she has to pay for the damages her father caused. If she doesn't, her father will risk going to jail." "Okay, you're looking for a girl who fits what I want." Sen was always reliable. "But... do you think her family won't interfere? What if she has to stay here?" Because Laura indeed had to stay here. "Mrs., just make a contract agreement with her. I'm sure she'll agree. For now, Laura will do any job. That's what I overheard when I visited my friend at the hospital." Sen did know Laura, but he only found out about the girl's misfortune when he overheard her talking to her other siblings. Laura's younger sister and brother couldn't help. So Laura, with her cleverness, sought a way out. A pitiable girl. "Okay, you're really great, Sen. Thank you for all your help." Having a subordinate like Sen, Lana often managed to solve all the problems in her family. Her husband and son were so busy that she had to intervene to solve this complicated matter. "You're welcome, Mrs. I'll take my leave." Lana nodded. She sighed. None of this would have happened if Agatha were okay. ** A girl with disheveled hair and clothes not much better sat anxiously in the office of Andrew Alexander Brown. Two servants had already come with drinks and small snacks. "Please, Miss." The servants were polite. Perhaps this was the kind of house where she encountered very polite servants. Usually, Laura was looked down upon by others. Understandably, she was just poor. Insults and belittlement had become her daily fare. The door opened, and Sen, the man who had visited her flower stall earlier, entered. The man who offered her a job and promised a hefty salary. "Miss Laura, Mrs. Lana will be here shortly. Please enjoy the snacks that have been served." Laura rose with a puzzled look. Her palms were already sweating, although the room was originally very cold. Perhaps because of her extreme nervousness. "Uncle, I'm confused. What kind of job will I be doing here? Because if I work as a cleaner, why bring me to this office? Really, I feel uncomfortable. The chairs are so nice, and I don't want to dirty them." Laura even wiped the sofa she had been sitting on, afraid that the dust she brought from outside would stick to it. Sen smiled at the girl who, in his opinion, hid a certain beauty. Unfortunately, it was neglected. "Mrs. Lana will be here shortly." Just as he said that, the door behind him swung open wide. Laura grimaced. Was this Mrs. Lana? The woman who came in was extremely beautiful. Laura felt even more unworthy. She didn't even dare to sit down. "Welcome to my home, Laura. Is that your name?" Lana greeted with a friendly smile. Laura was stunned. Until now, she had only met wealthy people when they bought her flowers on the roadside. Now, looking closely at the appearance of the lady of the house, Laura wanted to leave quickly. She felt so dirty. "Please, Laura, sit down. Don't be so tense. Aren't the food and drinks to your liking? If you don't like them, I'll ask my household assistant to replace them." Laura shook her head. "Oh, no need, Mrs. I... I just feel uncomfortable sitting there, on your sofa." "Why?" Lana asked, puzzled. Laura stared at her in disbelief. She couldn't even speak. The woman in front of her was incredibly beautiful. Her skin was flawless, and the jewelry she wore added to her elegant aura. A complete contrast to herself. "Laura, if the sofa is dirty, I'll ask my assistant to clean it. You don't need to worry about it anymore." Laura glanced at Sen, and the man nodded. "Okay, Mrs., I'll sit now." Laura reluctantly seated herself on the very beautiful sofa. But not wholeheartedly. There was no need to ask; she was sure this sofa was expensive. "Have a drink first, Laura, so you won't be tense. Relax, I won't bite." Lana teased the girl in front of her. Lana's words made Laura smile. Lana was right; Laura had been feeling awkward since earlier. She had worked in the homes of wealthy people before, but she had never been interviewed in an office. At least she was accepted in the kitchen or at the back of the house. With a slight tremble, Laura lifted the cup in her hand. "I'll drink the water, Mrs." Lana nodded, enjoying how Laura behaved. Laura only sipped her drink slightly. "Would you like to try the cake? It tastes good." Laura shook her head. It wasn't the time for pleasantries. "Mrs. Lana, without disrespect, can we get straight to the point?" Laura didn't intend to be rude, but she needed certainty. If she didn't make money here, she wouldn't stay long. She would find money elsewhere. After all, her father couldn't wait. "Alright. Laura Parker. That's your full name, right?" Laura nodded. "Before we get to the point, I want to know about you first." "According to Sen, you have a flower stall on the roadside, not far from this house. You're the second of four siblings. Your mother left who knows where because she couldn't bear to live in poverty with your father. And now your father is being treated at a private hospital because of a fight, and he needs money for his treatment." "You're right," Laura answered with a firm nod. "And for that, before I tell you about your job, I want to know if you're still a virgin?" Laura was surprised for a moment. Of all the questions she had heard regarding jobs in large and luxurious homes, was virginity a standard? "Mrs., but..." "Just answer, Laura, yes or no." Lana quickly interrupted. Turning to Sen again, Laura hoped the man would help her. But once again, Sen just nodded. So Laura focused her gaze on Mrs. Lana. "Yes, Mrs. I'm still a virgin," the girl answered after taking a deep breath. "Do you have a boyfriend? I mean, have you ever been in a relationship or are you currently in one?" This time Laura shook her head. "No, Mrs. I don't have time to think about that. My family is my priority. I am responsible for their future." Laura honestly replied. Her father was an unemployed alcoholic. Her older brother liked to fight and couldn't stand working. Her younger sister wanted to live comfortably and only thought about beauty. Among all of them, only her youngest sibling truly cared for her. "Good, that's what I'm looking for. I don't want you to work here but be preoccupied with your family's situation." "What department will I be placed in, Mrs., if I may ask?" Laura was becoming impatient. Lana smiled. "Laura, your salary here is five thousand dollars per month." Laura's eyes widened in disbelief. "You must be mistaken, Mrs. Maybe you mean five hundred dollars." Lana looked at the girl in front of her, whom she was sure emitted an unpleasant odor. Her skin was shabby, her hair unkempt. That's why she sat far away. "I'm not mistaken, Laura. Your salary is five thousand dollars a month, with you living here. For twenty-four hours, you must be here. And during that time, I don't want your siblings, your brother, or anyone else to disturb you." "But... why is it so expensive? What will my job be?" Five thousand dollars was not a small amount of money. She had never had that much money in her entire life. She imagined she could pay for her younger sibling's school fees and provide nutritious food for the rest of her family. "Read the contract agreement first." "Contract?" Laura was confused. "Yes, here it explains what you have to do, and you'll sign a contract for the next six months. We can discuss an extension later. Can you read?" A sheet of paper was handed to Laura. She had attended school even though she didn't graduate. So she quickly read the letter, which then made her jump in disbelief. "MARRIAGE CONTRACT? WHAT IS THIS, MRS. LANA?" The girl's eyes almost popped out of their sockets. Lana smiled. "Yes, that's what I'm offering you. You will enter into a contract marriage with my son." As Lana finished speaking, the door behind Sen swung wide open. "Sen said Mommy has found a girl I can marry." The voice came along with the arrival of a handsome man with a tall, imposing figure. "Mommy has found her, Andrew." Lana spoke to the handsome figure. Then she turned to Laura, who was still confused and didn't understand. The next moment, the girl's eyes almost fainted when she heard Lana speak again. "Laura, let me introduce you to Andrew Alexander Brown. He is my son who will marry you." "Andrew, this is Laura, the girl Mommy has chosen for you."
