Chapter 3:

“So what are the plans for today?” Sara asked looking at me.

“I don’t know, I thought maybe just going to school. Why?” I asked curiously.

“Did you forget tonight is Brandon’s party?” She said in a serious tone. Now I remember I promised her that I would go with her. Sara has this huge crush on Brandon but she’s too scared to tell him how she feels. Brandon is the captain of the football team and a huge player every week he had a new girl. I’ve been trying to convince Sara to just tell him how she feels, she won’t admit it but it hurts her to see him with other girls. She asked if I would go to this party with her so she ca try and get close to him. At first I didn’t want to but she gave me those sad puppy dog eyes and I couldn’t resist. “I’m sorry Sara I completely forgot.” I said while looking at the ground in shame. How could I forget this? It’s important to her and it completely slipped my mind. Wow I’m such a bad friend. “Addison are you listing to me?” Sara asked putting her had on my shoulder. “Yeah sorry what did you say?” I asked her. “I said after school we can go dress shopping.” She replied “Yeah sounds great.” I said with a smile as the bell rang.

I walked to my first class. Everyone was standing around talking. I took my seat at the back of the class and took out my note book. The professor walked in and greeted the class. Nobody seemed to ever notice he was in the room. “Class settle down!” He yelled and everyone went quiet. “Thank you now please take your seats.” He said as he turned to write something on the black bored. “Now everyone open you’re text books on page 144.” He said as he wrote a heading on the bored. I took out my text book and opened it up. I raised my hand needing to go to the bathroom so badly. It felt like my bladder was about to explode. “Yes Addison.” The teacher said from the front of the class. “I need to go to the bathroom please.” I said as I twisted my legs trying to keep my bladder under control. “Go Addison.” He said as he continued the class. I got up and walked out of the class room.  as I walked back to class the bell rang and students flooded the hallway. I pushed my way through the crowd back to my class. When I got there the class was empty so I walked in and to my seat. I saw here was a letter in my book. I closed my book and put it in my bag. I walked to my next class. The day went by smoothly and lunch rolled around quite quickly. 

pulled my seat out. I sat down and he gave me a kiss before leaving to get our food. “So Addison I was thinking we could go to Famous to buy dresses for tonight?” Sara said.  “Sounds good.” I say, just then I remember the note I got. I open my backpack and get out the letter. “What’s that?” Sara asks looking at the letter. “It’s a letter.” I say in a sarcastic tone. “I can see that from who?” She asks sounding annoyed by my answer. “ I don’t know. I found it in my book when I get back from the bathroom.” I said while opening the letter.

The letter read:

My dear Addison

I hope you enjoy the party tonight. I’ll see you there. Enjoy the dress shopping with Sara. I can’t wait to see you.

Your mate

“What does it say?” Sara asks me from across the table. I read the letter out loud and put it back in my bag. “That’s sweet in a creepy kind of way.” She says. I nod and see Martin coming towards us. I move up and make room for him to sit down. He put’s the food in front of us and we eat and talk till the bell rings.

The rest of the day was average nothing interesting happened. the bell rings to signal the end of the school day and I walk out of class to Martin’s car. I get there and he’s waiting for me I hug him tightly. “I’ll see you tonight darling.” He says as he walks over to the drives side. I lean in and kiss him. he puts his hand on the back of my head and pulls me closer by the waist with his other hand. He licks my bottom lip asking for entry which grant immediately. Our tongues swirl around each other. I feel so at peace right now. I hear someone clearing the throat and we break the kiss. My lips already missing his. “That’s disgusting and in public.” Sara says as she looks from me to Martin and back to me. I feel my cheeks turning bright red. Martin must have noticed cause he put his arm around me and said, “Well she is my girlfriend and I’m not going to hide the way I feel about her.” “Okay, fine.” Sara said knowing it’s better not to say anything else. “So are we going or what?” she asks looking at me. I nod and move out from under Martin’s arm. He smiles at me and says, “I love you.” I blow him a kiss and Sara pulls me towards her car. We get in the car and head to the mall.

We stop at the mall and got out when I saw Sam and Eric two of our friends. They walked over to us. ”Hey what are you guys doing here?” I asked as they gave us hugs. “Well Sara said you would be dress shopping and needed some imput on you’re dresses.” Eric said. I looked at Sara and she gave a innocent smile. I sighed and said, “Okay let’s get going.” Sam hooked arms with me and Eric hooked arms with Sara and went into the mall.
