The Scrupulous Affinity.
The Opportunity. Adeola was a very diligent lady who always wanted best for herself in life, she was not only diligent, but beautiful, brilliant and vibrant as well. She was already closer to the end of her 20's when she graduated from University where she had her B.sc in computer science. As God does His wonders, she secured a job in Osun State, Osogbo precisely. she moved to Osogbo from her home town which is also found under the Osun State Government. She was paying fabulously in her company which always made her basking in the euphoria of the opportunity.  She dignified herself to the core and made sure she always distanced herself from men in order not to find herself in their shenanigans. It wasn't that she didn't mingle with men, even though during her university days, within her camaraderie, fifty percent of her rapports were men. She did mingle with her female colleagues as well just in case of necessity. She was loved by almost all of her male colleagues, but as God programmed women's lives, there would always be jealousy, not only jealousy but with an iota of hypocrisy, which made her hardly engaged in petty conversations with them. It wasn’t like she didn’t talk with her female colleagues as well but few, and she had a limit to what she could discuss with them. Adeola's opulence made her the first lady of their company, despite some of her female colleagues hypocrisy, her male colleagues always hailed her and her boss Mr Tobi saw her as a good ambassador of his company. Some Adeola's male colleagues tried of professing their love to her, but she always counted their feelings as jokes. It was like a joke when their boss's friend Mr Niyi who always visited their company during his free times in his own office came to visit Mr Tobi's company one day and called Adeola in to his friend's office to express his feelings to her, she couldn’t believe what she heard, she looked straight unto Mr Niyi's eyes and stood up from seat, she said to him ; Sir it isn't like you are not okay as a man, tons of men are already on my neck, but I get trust issue, aside from that I have trained my heart to stay away from romantic relationship until I found the man of my choice and I know it would also start from step. Anyway, I ought to have been on my way home right away as you can see it's almost dark, she left Mr Niyi and went straight to her car and drove away. Mr Tobi , Adeola's boss, who hung somewhere so that Mr Niyi and Adeola could have better conversations walked in after she left, what's up Niyi? what did she say? Tobi asked Niyi out of curiosity, was eager to hear something from him. She didn't even do like someone that would later yield, someone that was talking about trust issue and made it known to me that she could never give her heart to any man at this moment, Mr Niyi said. Didn't I tell you? Adeola is not easy to get, but you thought I didn't want you to get into her, maybe you should keep talking to her, if she would later turn up, Mr Tobi said to Niyi. Mr Niyi urged his friend to talk to Adeola on his behalf, but Mr Tobi insisted on staying off the matter.   The Love Birds. Some weeks later, after Adeola left office, she could be seen sitting together with Mr Niyi in front of his car at the entrance of their company talking and laughing together which made this looked like she had already danced to his tone. After spending like an hour together, they were both ready to go to their various houses. As she tended to alight from the car, Mr Niyi held her hands and dragged her back, C’mon babe! Try to be romantic now! Uhnm! What were you expecting me to do to be romantic? Asked Adeola, anyway, she moved closer to Mr Niyi and they both hugged tightly, Niyi used the medium to kissed her on her forehead and gave her pecks on her cheeks, she quickly alighted from his car and went straight to her own car, bye she waved to him and he as well returned the gesture, bye babe! They both drove to their various houses. The next day in office, Mr Tobi called Adeola to his office and interrogated her about her relationship with Mr Niyi, he also explained how Mr Niyi was urging him to talk to her on his behalf which he refused to do, he said; I could see you and Niyi are love birds now, he was once urging me to talk to you on his behalf, but I didn't know what I could hear from you, that was why I stayed off the matter. But I could now see that the thing is already going smoothly, Niyi has been my friend from the childhood and we also went to same University together, he ought to have told you many things about himself… .Adeola cut in; Thank you so much sir, it’s not like we have gone far like that, as it should be, I just chose to calm my nerves now and find a better man for myself as a life partner. And I think you would know his nooks and crannies more than me due to the fact that your cardinality has started since when you were in childhood phase. If I see the quality of a responsible man in him, that means we are good to go! And if I see the opposite, that means we can’t continue, Mr Tobi was consistently looking at her like he had more things to say , but couldn't talk anymore. Adeola and Mr Niyi were completely in love with each other, but she had never allowed herself to be tempted to the extend of having body contact with him, they visited each other severally, Mr Niyi did come to her office after closing at his own office except he had tight schedules. They kept igniting their love flame as they chose to be loyal to each other in all ways, they sometimes went out to have fun together, like going on beach, lounge and the likes. Not every weekend they usually met each other, because Niyi sometimes travelled down to check on his family in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Mr Niyi was hailed from a town which is also found under Ogun State Government, but he was brought up in Abeokuta. Whenever he's around in weekend, that would be the time Adeola would go to his place to visit him. It was weekend again, Adeola made a visitation to his fiancee’s place, after she helped him with home cores and prepared the lunch they both ate. They were gisting and having a romantic play together in his bedroom, as the nature has it, they later ended themselves in having s****l intimacy together. After getting home, Adeola couldn't imagine what happened between her and Mr Niyi, gush!!! what shall I called this? she kept asking herself this rhetorical question, after some minutes she called herself to notice and exclaimed; why all these self??? Am I not an adult? some of my colleagues had gotten married years back, some are planning to settle down, but I stick to my ego and insisted on moving away from man, now I'm a confirmed woman, that's good of me! The next day was monday again, after Adeola closing time in office, Mr Niyi came to her and brought her some goodies as he always did, they have some conversations together before they both went back to their various houses. The next day, Mr Tobi, Adeola's boss, went to visit Mr Niyi in his office, after they both discussed about their businesses, Mr Tobi asked about his relationship with Adeola. I could see you both are already in love, I hope everything would be okay? Tobi asked his friend. Everything would be okay, we are going to invite you to our wedding soon Tobi! They both laughed vigorously and kept on with their conversations. Adeola was a shy type, easy going and a secretive lady, She kept making it easy for her fiancee and he didn't also resist in making her happy as well. Some months later, Adeola was confirmed being pregnant, she reasoned it for some minutes why she could allow one man to put her in the family way without doing the needful as her legal husband, she later decided to inform her lover, he called him through mobile call and asked him to meet her at her home after their daily work. Mr Niyi came to Adeola and they both exchanged a romantic pleasantries, Adeola blowed the news to Mr Kolapo's hearing,  Wow! this is what I have been expecting so far, he smiled for a moment, it looked like Niyi had something else to say. But he kept praising Adeola, so you are carrying our baby? Don't you see it calls for celebration? Yah it really calls for celebration, but everything should be between both of us for now, she said. Niyi smiled, uhnmm! I know you now.        Unknown Agenda. The next day Niyi went to Adeola's work place, they both saw and hugged each other as usual, he said to her ; Angel, pls you should stay away from stressful stuffs now because of my own child, Adeola gave her a glimpse of smile. Anyway, don't let's loose guard you know you are in office. Besides, I came to see your boss, that was why I didn't notify you. Mr Niyi went straight to her friend's office, Friend! It has happened!! Adeola is pregnant for me!!! Wow! Congratulations friend, it calls for celebration now, Mr Tobi said with smile on his face……Niyi didn’t allow him to land before he cut in, yes! I know it calls for celebration!  But it remains how I would tell her that I'm a married man with four kids, and how I would tell that my wife in Abeokuta that I'm taking in second fiddle Mr Tobi laughed vigorously, Congratulations to you again friend, you have already told me you would invite me to your wedding soon, I hope I would be your Best Man like I did on your wedding day with your first wife? or you have done the replacement?. he laughed again. Mr Niyi was looking at his friend angrily and said, the time when you are supposed to be serious is the time you always play most. Tobi kept laughing as her friend looked worried. After a moment of silence, Mr Tobi raised his head up, Niyi there must be a solution to everything, I think you told me that your first wife refused to relocate here from Abeokuta due to the fact that she didn't want to quit her well paying job there? Niyi noded, exactly now, Tobi ; Then she should hold Abeokuta and let Adeola hold here, you would just keep going to Abeokuta at your free days and also spend weekend with them over there as you normally do, Adeola should move in with you here, that's all. But it remains how Adeola wouldn't see me her boss as a wicked man for not telling her about your marital status, anyway, maybe you should clear everything on Adeola's part today, and try to go to Abeokuta to inform your first wife as well, not more than that. Tobi and Niyi were dialoguing with each other till the closing time, Mr Niyi went to his new wife to be, they discussed whatever they had to say and hlwent straight to their cars and drove away to their various houses. Like an hour after getting home, Niyi went to Adeola’s place unannounced, Adeola was surprised after seeing him. Niyi! Hope all is well? Mr Niyi didn’t bother to respond, he just knelt down in front of her. Niyi;  Adeola! You should know I really love you and value you and I really appreciate you for returning the gesture, I have never and will never take you for granted….. Fright has already caught Adeola with Niyi’s action and words, she didn’t allow him to land before she cut in, What? What’s happening?  Niyi! Hope I'm safe? Because the way you are doing is somehow scary! Adeola lamented. Niyi went ahead with his words, he then made a confession about his marital status, she let her knew in his words that she purposely wanted to marry her as the second fiddle. Adeola screamed bitterly, God!!!!!!!! she almost slump down while Niyi held her, Tears were profusely running down from her eyes down her cheeks. Niyi started petting and made a promise of marrying her as his second wife. He said, Adeola, I want you to know I love you wholeheartedly and I didn't mean to hurt you, but you might refuse to give me a chance if you know I'm a married man regarding what I heard from your boss that many guys in your company had tried to have you which you kept turning down them down, and I purposely want to marry you down here in Osogbo while my senior wife would still stay in Abeokuta. But why?? Why didn't you inform me this before putting me in to the family way??? If I'm destined to marry a polygamist, I know I have no choice even if I was the first wife, my husband would marry another woman. Niyi! this is bad!! I don't know the kind of woman your first wife is, I don't know if I would be able to cope with her attitude, even if we are not going to be living together, some women are extraordinarily wicked. But did Mr Tobi know about your marital status? Niyi responded with her voice shaking, maybe Maybe or he knew??? Mr Niyi; He knew Wow! Just wowww! And he was also camouflaging you? Pls take your leave for now!!! Niyi left her place. The next day Adeola couldn't go to work, she looked so worried, she kept worrying how she was destined like that all in the name of choosing life partner, God!!! Is this how it's supposed to be? anyway it's my fate! I think I need to pro choice the matter! God knows everything. Mr Tobi noticed Adeola's absence in the office, he called Niyi, his friend on mobile call and asked about the matter, Mr Niyi made it known to him that he had confessed to Adeola about his marital status, hope she didn't feel bad?  Tobi asked curiously. She angrily chased me out yesterday's night while she was profusely crying, uh! I hope the girl is in good condition, but I would check you in your office right away, Mr Tobi said. Mr Tobi drove down to Mr Niyi's office, they discuss about the matter that was on ground, Mr Tobi asked Niyi to go and check her at home, because she refused to pick his own call as well, He furthered, if I should follow you now, I don't know how she would act, I have also called her severally today, but she didn’t pick up. Mr Niyi saw Mr Tobi off, as they both talking in low voices. It was evening time, Niyi went down to Adeola's house, she hissed when seeing him but allowed him in, he pleaded her to the core while Adeola later forgave him at the end. The next day Adeola called her boss and let him know she missed his calls yesterday, Mr Tobi (Adeola’s boss) replied in low voice, yes, I wanted to ask why you were absent in office yesterday, that's why I called you and I have checked you in your office today as well, but still absent, hope all is well? All is well and good, just wish to stay off the office, Adeola replied with hyperactive voice, so you decided to be absent in office without notifying me right? Going to see you in noon, boss! she replied. It's noon already Adeola went straight to their company and went straight to her boss's office; If wickedness was to be a person, definitely you are, Ha! You that I thought you were my benefactor!. Uhnm! So you knew your friend Mr Niyi already got married with kids yet you were talking to me on his behalf! Gush! It seems I'm completely lost. Mr Tobi was trying to explain himself, but Adeola refused to hear his explanation, she told Gbade she's no more interested in working in his company again and she's completely assuring him that God will open another door for her. But! but what? Adeola didn't allow Mr Tobi to say anything again before shutting him up. Useless entity, boss for nothing! What did you want to say self? Knucklehead !  She left his office angrily. Her colleagues in office were worried about Adeola’s action, reasoning what could have happened between her and their boss that warranted calling him names like that. The next day, Mr Niyi and Adeola could be seen in his house alongside with Mr Tobi. Tobi pleaded Adeola, he stated he didn’t want to spoil their relationship and he even thought Niyi has told her about her marital status, that was why he didn’t bother to tell her, Adeola let Mr Tobi knew he has forgiven him and she didn’t have problem with him, but it’s just that she didn’t want to continue working in his company again. Mr Tobi also agreed with her, he let her aware that he just wished to clear the matter so that he wouldn’t look like a wicked man to her.                  Declaration. The next week after, Mr Niyi travelled down to Abeokuta to inform her first wife about his intention to bring in second wife, he was very scared in the first place because of his wife's hot temptation towards matter. After he joyfully interaction with her wife and their children, he called her to sit in private place and started praising her, he started his words; Omowum, my darling wife, you know I love you so much and same thing with our children, I do respect you and I want best for both of us .......  Wumi cut in, yessss I know you love me and our children, and I also love you and our children more and that's why I always pray for you so that God can elevate you more than this for us, thank you my darling wife, Mr Niyi said. So, to save you from stress I now decide to bring in second wife whom will stay with me in Osogbo while you are here in Abeokuta, you know you said you can't quit your job here to relocate to Osogbo, and I do respect your opinion, because husband and wife need to be respecting each other's opinion to make their marriage fixed properly, that's why I did so. But why are men like this? If I said I couldn't relocate, does that mean you should now bring in another wife? Or what are you trying to insinuate? pls don't tell me you meant this, I have been noticing you when you started praising me when you wanted to start your speech now, or what shall I call this self? don't worry pls! I'm going to quit my job here in Abeokuta and relocate with you in Osogbo, Wumi said with a hyperactive voice. No pls!!! it's late Niyi cut in, my new wife is already pregnant, and we are going to do the traditional wedding after we done visiting her family for our marriage arrangements, then after that she would move into my house. So I now urge you to get ready for our traditional wedding which will hold in her home town in Osun State, and also get ready to welcome her as your co wife as it should be. Don’t bother to relocate again because I shall continue coming home to you also like I have been doing so far. I promise to be a responsible husband to you both of you. Wumi started wagging tongue, but her husband never looked at her path Some weeks later after Adeola tied the nuptial knot with his man, She could be seen in the kitchen preparing breakfast for his husband. Honey! your breakfast is almost ready, what remain is to set the table in the dining, Adeola said with smiling face, oh! thank you honey I'm dressing up for the office, I'm coming there to join you soon Mr Niyi as well took a heed to his promises toward his wives, He kept going to Wumi and their children in Abeokuta as well. Wumi had also calmed her nerves, she was present during Mr Niyi and Adeola's traditional wedding that held in Adeola's hometown which made Adeola believed she's completely saved in his marriage. But who knew Wumi could still be coming to Osogbo every Friday's evening and asked her younger sister to stay with her children till she would come back on Monday's morning? Wumi frustrated Adeola's life to the core, which gave her blend of tensions. Their husband did plead her not to reason anything about her senior co- wife Adeola sat on a sofa one day, she kept reminiscing how men were rushing her when she was single and how she later wrongly chose life partner, she was really traumatized, and this really created bad thoughts to her mind. But her husband did try to make her happy. Some months after she gave birth to a bouncy baby boy, Ayomide, everything was going smoothly, until Wumi decided to relocate to Osogbo alongside with her children, which means she had completed relocated.  Adeola seemed to had stepped on elephant toe by marrying Mr Niyi, she couldn’t continue with her marriage again because of the consistence mayhems her co-wife was bringing all the times. She thought of running away from the abusive marriage to save her sanity. She rented an apartment and moved away for her life. Mr Niyi tried his best to make her happy, but his wicked first wife controlled his family. The distraught mother of one picked herself up and move on with her life.                    The New Life. It was one evening when Adeola was coming from her working place, she drove down to filling station to fuel her tank,  She heard someone calling her name, Adeola! Adeola Aderogba! She turned back, Dayo! Adedayo Adekola This is you? Wow! They both alighted from their various cars to greet warmly. After exchanging pleasantries.  Adeola curiously asked him about his immediate family, What about Kemi, your wife? And your children?  Dayo shook his head; Adeolaaaaa! He looked into her eyes, uhnm! We thank God, they are doing well. But we have never had more than a child. Then what about your own husband and children? Dayo also asked out of curiosity, Adeola looked into his eyes, we thank God, they are also doing well! But we have never had more than a child as well, she responded. They both exchanged contact before they went to their various ways. Then, who was Dayo? Dayo was Adeola’s ex fiancee, they started like boyfriend and girlfriend, they both went to same University, their relationship ended when they were in University. Like you know, Adeola was a type of lady who always held on with her dignity, the same thing with Dayo as well. Adeola's opulence always created some confusing thoughts on Dayo's mind during their courtship, which made him requested they should have s****l intimacy, so that it would made their relationship stronger, but Adeola denied! This always made Dayo doubt about her. Adeola was too serious about her life. Dayo did all what he could do to make her dance to his tone and Adeola always proved she loved him, but she held to his dignity. Dayo later concurred with her about her s****l purity the moment he discovered she could never change her mind. He once asked her to introduce him to her family and he also wished to introduce her to his own family, but Adeola was never ready for all his intentions. That was why Dayo intended to use Kemi to convince her to his way, Kemi was just a friend to him, they both love each other but that of his feelings for Adeola was second to none. Adeola's action was hurtful to him. There were some times, which he would be romantically playing with Kemi in Adeola's presence, in order to make her jealousy, but the unbothered Adeola would just look away. This her unbothered action made Dayo move on with Kemi, it was hurtful to Adeola as well, but her ego didn’t allow her to be so hurt like that of Dayo, that was how they broke up during their University’s days.               After getting home, Dayo made a call with Adeola, Adeola didn’t hesitate to let him know she’s a single mother of one, Dayo as well shared his experience so far with her. The next weekend Dayo paid a visitation to Adeola’s place, after she entertained him, they both went ahead to narrate their experiences so far. Adeola firstly narrated her experience, that was how I went ahead to build a relationship with a mere stranger, and got tempted to have a s****l intimacy that I refused to have with you. Uhnmm! Adeola, It's God will.  Dayo as well narrated what he went through in her marriage with Kemi,  He went ahead with his words, Kemi only married me but refused to be in good terms with my family, we didnt share more than a child( A baby boy) before she started her dictatorship, the amazing part of it is that she refused to take her child with her when she was leaving, even though I wouldn’t allow her to take the child, my son is with my elder sister. So since then I have decided to stay single, I have already tired of marriage, but my family never let me rest for a second, Dayo, Dayo won't you look out and bring another wife in? why can't you do this? when would you do tha....... So I think we are on same phase now. They are doing the right now, said Adeola. Dayo continued with his words, I wished I could have you back after we graduated that I still noticed you were purely single, but I knew I had firstly done a wrong deed, because for you to fund it difficult to move with another man immediately after our separation explained lots of meaning. I knew I was the reason for our separation, Dayo said.  No I was the one, because I refused to give you what you wanted while I later gave it to a stranger, Adeola said. But you did it at the right time Adeola! What if we did it at that time and it resulted to pregnancy? How could we both cope? I caused it! All is well! Adeola said. Dayo continued with his words, I wished I could have you back afterDayo looked into her eyes, Adeola, but why can’t we turn the then “Impossibility” to “Possibility”? Don’t you think we are meant for each other, that’s why we are like these….. Anyway, I can’t find a response to that today. Some months later, Adeola and Dayo got married. She urged his husband to bring his son in once her own son Ayomide was living with them. Her husband heeded to her opinion, Olayemi and Ayomide are now living happily with their parents.
