Lina P.O.V

She must have figured it out with how hard she's shaking me. " Stay away from the Alpha, he has no good intentions for you." I was dumb struck. I thought she would hate me. "Listen Lina", she came close to me." He is up to no good, come time of the ball I'll get you away from here and to a safer pack. You staying here any longer would be an insult to the late beta." Why would she care about my dad. I just nodded at her. " I will find you tomorrow, until then keep doing things as usual." Just as quickly as she came, she was out the door. I have no idea what she's up to but if it gets me away from that awful Alpha, then so be it.

After finishing off my chores I went into the pantry to look for a snack. I've been feeling a little light headed due to lack of food. I found some canned peaches so I sat there and ate. I tossed the can in the garbage and decided to head outside. I wasn't allowed to participate in the ball. Alpha said I have to remain inside so I wanted to see it before its in full swing. Looking at the beautiful gold and white lights was breathtaking. There were matching table cloths as well. The blizzard was over but there was still snow on the ground. With the pine trees and mountains in the background I was in awe. I didn't realize someone had come up behind me. Grabbing my mouth so I don't scream, I was pulled to the back of the pack house with me thrashing the whole way. I turned around to see Barron. "You look so sad you can't be a part of it but don't worry, I'll be your company", he says snaking his hand around my waist. I try to push away when we both hear a heart shattering roar. "Alpha", I say looking up.

Alpha Gage P.O.V

The nerve of my warrior to try and have what is mine. I pull him away from her and toss him to the side. She probably lead him on anyway. I grabbed her by the arm and dragged her up to her room tossing her in there. " You are to stay here until after the ball. If I find you out of this room

before then it's the dungeons for you". I slammed and locked her door. I was fuming. Barron's lucky he's my best lead warrior.

Maribel P.O.V

That girl can't seem to stay away I thought. It took some doing but I finally got the key from my wretched alpha. Took a little seductive persuasion but I got it. Looking outside all the Alphas were showing up right on time. I just needed to wait a bit longer. My clueless Alpha doesn't know what's gonna hit him. I join him outside to greet the Alphas and pack members coming. Standing beside him we see Alpha Lou of Round Rock and Alpha Beau of Pine Green pack exit their vehicles. An SUV pulls up and Alpha Aaron walks out. I give him a sly smile unbeknownst to my mate. Let the plan proceed.
