Alpha Aaron P.O.V
We had this dainty little pack surrounded. We all approached slowly quietly killing the guards as we went. I had us split in four teams. Triss and the other two trackers were leading their own group while I had this one. Once we reached this run down mansion we quietly started climbing the sides. Using the vines and window sills we made our way up to the third floor. On queue we broke the windows and climbed through unleashing hell. We got through the guards easily when I sensed an Alpha aura. Actually I sense two. I busted through a door and found the Alpha of this pack. "What is your name?" I demanded. "No Hablo ingles". I ran at him grabbing his collar. "Bullshit" I proceeded to punch him in the face. "Where's Gage?" He pointed to a room across from his. I extended my hand into claws and plunged them into his chest yanking his heart on the way. I turned towards that door to see that Triss had already made his way there. I ran in and what I saw had my stomach twisted. Gage was there with a naked Sheila against him and he held a dagger to her neck. "Alpha, what a nice surprise. I knew it would be dangerous having an informant in your pack but not to worry, I've exposed of her already for you", he smirked. "I just didn't realize she'd give up my location first". I sneered at him. "We found you ourselves. Who was the informant?" I demanded. "Ariel.....a past lover I suppose", he finished. I was shocked I knew I broke her heart but I didn't think she would do this. "Let Sheila go and I'll make your death quick". He snickered. "I'll make you a deal, Sheila or my little w***e who seems to have your Gamma entranced."Triss stood up removing his shirt to cover this girl. "That's your mate?" I asked. "Yes Alpha". I needed a plan and quick. I glanced behind Gage and noticed I had a warrior waiting outside the window. I nodded my head and he burst through knocking Gage over. I quickly leapt forward and snatched Sheila from his grasp. She got cut down her neck and to her breast but I was able to save her from further damage. I handed Sheila off to one of my warriors and turned to Gage who was ready to lunge at me. Before I could react Triss was on him. I turned to make sure his mate was taken care of. She was in the same state as Sheila. "Take them both to safety now", I instructed the four closest to them. After they left I shifted. This bastard doesn't get to have a decent death. I hopped on him and grabbed his neck and shook violently. Triss held him in place as I completely removed his head from his body. We both waited a moment to breathe. "I'm sorry Alpha. I know he was your kill but when Rosa told me what happened to her I lost it", Triss stated. "I understand. Let's leave and burn this place to the ground." We both walked out and were handed a torch. We walked away victorious. "Alpha, what about the other members of this pack?" One of the warriors asked. " The men are just as bad and the women all stayed silent instead of banding together to fix the problem. There's nothing we can do for them", I finished. Let's get you guys home.
Lina P.O.V
I've been pacing for ever now. Aaron left yesterday. He took a jet and it was still taking a while. His parents are staying with me for the time being. " Lina why don't you sit and have a drink with us?" Maya asked. "That sounds like a good idea. I need to relax", I said taking a seat. "One thing about my son......is he won't fail, Lucas said. "Yes Lina my Aaron is the best warrior and Alpha around. I can assure you he will be okay", Maya reassured. "It's getting late. Why don't we eat some pizza and then try to sleep a little", Maya suggested. "Oh honey you know to order the Hawaiian". She made a face at her mate. "Lucas I swear that is one thing we will never come to terms on". I giggled."I enjoy cheese pizza". I said trying to break their little spat." Okay I'll order one cheese and one Hawaiian", Maya stated. "Sounds good my dear." Atleast they kept the atmosphere light. "Would you like a refill Lina?" Lucas asked. "Yes that would be nice", I replied handing him my drink. I watched him walk into the kitchen following his mate. I pulled out my phone and tried calling Aaron. Straight to voice-mail. Which means they're not out of the woods yet. I sighed. After we ate I settled into bed. I've been having trouble sleeping since Aaron left. I laid there silently tossing and turning. I finally drifted off to sleep. I woke up to someone jumping on my bed. "Lina get up were being attacked". I stood up immediately and recognized Maya. "Where's Dom?" I threw on some tights and shoes real quick. "He's out there fighting", Maya responded. "We need to help". We both took off outside and it was crazy. A pack of rogues had entered our territory. Rogues have a black aura and they all look mangy. "Lina get back inside", Dom instructed." Not a chance. This is my pack and I'm not staying inside while everyone is out here". I shifted. This would only be the second time I shifted but I could tell I was stronger than the first. I ran in and started biting everything with black. We managed to comb through the rogues pretty quickly. As Lucas finished the last one we all stood just gathering our bearings. All of a sudden someone had my fur and just as quick as it happened we were gone. I felt this weird whooshing happening to my body and when I opened my eyes I was somewhere else entirely.
