It's the day of my ceremony, and even though I feel sad that Aaron chose his path, I can't help but feel grateful. I am still a Luna and now an Alpha of all things. Never in my life did I think that I alone, an abused female, would be carrying such a title just due to my mate and luck. I'm beyond blessed, and I intend to work my hide off to make sure that others can reap my blessings as well. I put on my pantsuit and got my hair up in a professional bun with some strands hanging on the side. Call me crazy but everything I wear needs to be silver. I have on silver eye shadow and mascara. I left my eye liner black, but that's it. My jewelry is also silver. I want them to know that I'm a silver wolf, and I take the blessing seriously. it's not about me it's about my people. I can't wait to be in servitude of them.

I can't believe I'm passing my Alpha duties off to our Luna. It's fine, but definitely unorthodox. I got ready in my standard suit and tie. My beautiful mate is wearing a black dress. We arrived before it began to make sure everything was in place. the mini bar and the seats for the children are towards the front. Beta Dom and Gamma Triss will attend, but they will leave their mind link open to anything going strange around the borders. I hope things run smoothly. I just want Lina to have something peaceful happen in her life. I am disappointed in my son for leaving even if I understand why. I couldn't fathom having my mate pick someone else but to each their own. I can be here for my rightful future heir to take the place. He will come back eventually, I'm sure of it. When he does, he will have hell to pay. He will have to earn his title back for sure. Once everything is set, we begin with the music.

Watching everyone scramble around just showed me how wonderful this pack is. Trying to make everything perfect for me. My mom stayed by my side and assured me that if Han could stay, he would've, but something needed his attention. Couldn't help but think that my mate was involved in that. Today was my day, and nothing was gonna change that at all. I slowly approached the gazebo and waited for one of our elders to pass the blessing on. As he was speaking, I couldn't help but notice how much he mentioned the unique situation. I rolled my eyes several times, but he was right. Never has a Luna and Alpha been announced through the same person. So I just kept my smile on and continued awkwardly. I lifted my hand to promise my duties when he said something I didn't quite understand. "I'm sorry...what was that?" He looked at me and cleared his throat. " Due to the circumstances and protection of the pack, you have three months to have a fated mate or choose a mate to be Alpha." I stared at him dumbfounded. "I don't need an Alpha. I am Alpha. " He stepped back, sensing my aura. "I understand, but we all took a vote and decided that in order to have a strong pack, we need two to run it. Not just one and naturally when the time came you would be Luna and whomever you choose....will be Alpha", he finished. I looked over to Lucas, who looked as shocked as I did. "Now... Do you accept?" I took a deep breath. "Yes." He stepped towards the crowd." Luna and interim Alpha Lina is at ya'lls service," he kneeled with everyone else. I didn't like how he phrased that last statement, but I can't change that now. As soon as the Formalities were out of the way, I made my way to the bar with my beta in tow. Ordering my usual whiskey and coke, I looked at Dom. "So I have three months to find someone to be Alpha," I said to him. "I heard," he said dejectedly. "How about becoming Alpha?" He stared at me. "I'm sorry, what?". I downed my drink. "You heard me. I need a Alpha within three months' time. I don't trust anyone right now, nor may I ever. The only solution is for you to become Alpha when the time comes. So..... What do you think?"
