A few minutes later, he entered with a large paper bag. He handed it to me, and I looked at him with a puzzled expression. "Here," he said, so I took it. I was amazed to see many pads of different brands inside. He even bought medicine and warm water. I went to the bathroom to change my pads before coming out. I saw him standing in front of the bathroom, looking worried. He quickly approached me. "Are you okay? How are you feeling?" he asked anxiously. I smiled at him and held his hand. "I'm fine, don't worry," I said gently. He guided me to the bed and gave me the medicine and water, which he made warm. He placed it on my stomach after drinking it. I felt a sense of calmness. "Take a rest," he said, adjusting the comforter over me and kissing my forehead before closing his eyes. I woke up feeling hungry, so I slowly opened my eyes. I looked around the room and saw him sitting in front of my desk, typing on his laptop. He suddenly opened the door, and Manang entered with a bag full of food. She looked worried as she saw me. "You're awake, dear. How are you feeling?" she asked with concern. I smiled at her and replied, "I'm okay, Manang." "Oh, good. Let's eat first. I cooked a lot," she said, arranging the table in my room. She excused herself before leaving. I stood up and went to the bathroom to freshen up before coming out. I saw Dark leaning against the wall beside my bathroom, his hand in his pocket. He looked at me as I entered. "Are you okay?" he asked. I smiled at him and nodded, hugging him. Thanks to him, I felt better. The pain in my lower abdomen wasn't as intense as before. "Thank you," I said affectionately. He nodded at me, and I gave him a sweet kiss on the forehead and cheek before smiling at him. After that, we sat at the table where Manang had prepared a variety of dishes. He pulled a chair for me and sat in front of me, spoon-feeding me. We talked about what we would do the next day since it was the start of classes again. It was a tiring day ahead. After we finished eating, he said he had finished everything he needed to submit to the dean the next day, so we watched a movie in my room. I had a TV there. I rested my head on his shoulder as he grabbed some popcorn. I looked at him and realized that even though he seemed grumpy, he had a hidden sweetness. He had a well-defined nose, and even from a side view, he was still hot. He wouldn't change. He was still handsome. I wouldn't be surprised if all the girls chased after him on campus and even in other schools. He was well-known. I'm so lucky to have such a handsome guy given to me by God. He must really love me because he gave me what every girl desires. Do I deserve this man? Maybe I'm just lucky that he liked me. But I'm still grateful to his ex-girlfriend because if she hadn't let him go, I wouldn't have Dark now, who takes care of me and loves me so much. If she hadn't hurt him, maybe I wouldn't have met him and made him mine. Thank you to her. -FAST FORWARD- "Love, I have to go," he said, quickly kissing me on the lips. "Okay, take care. I love you," I said affectionately to him. I kissed him on the forehead and cheek before giving him a sweet smile. After that, he left. I went inside our house and prepared for the evening. I took a bath and changed into my uniform. After that, I went out and had breakfast. Many students were already here, but I didn't pay them any attention. I walked straight to my classroom and sat in my seat, between two classmates who were busy with their phones and even smiling at each other. I placed my bag behind me and placed my phone on the table in front of me. Ellaine suddenly took it. "Oh, the case is beautiful," she said. "Can I see?" Xyrene chimed in. They both took a look at it. "Oh, yes, the letter is there. You know him," she said, grinning. I just glared at her as if they didn't have boyfriends and secrets of their own. They both laughed with Ellaine, and she took my phone and placed it in front of me on the table. We continued talking until the bell rang, indicating that it was time for the flag ceremony in the gym. We all stood up together. "We were leaving our classroom, laughing as we walked towards the gym. The three of us were joking around, and as we reached our line, we noticed someone approaching. Behind us, the MC hadn't arrived yet, so they were just chatting. We were standing next to Dark's group, but we pretended not to know each other for now. Suddenly, someone handed me a love letter and three red roses. We looked at the person who handed them to me. He seemed shy and scratched the back of his head. He wasn't a senior, probably a 3rd-year college student, Dark's batchmate. "Hi, Ellise," he nervously said. I just smiled at him. "Don't smile at her," Dark said irritably next to me. We were always together in line. I looked at him and his friends who were now looking at us. "For you," the guy said, handing me the three red roses and the love letter. "Thank you," I said to him, about to take the flowers, but Dark grabbed my hand. "I'm sorry, dude, but she's already my girlfriend," he said firmly, so I elbowed him. The guy felt embarrassed by what Dark said to him. "Oh, is that so? Sorry, I just have a crush on her," he said before walking away. I gave Dark a stern look, and he just raised an eyebrow at me."
