"After the guy left, I gave him an angry look, but he just grinned at me. He pulled me close and kissed my forehead, unnoticed by everyone who was busy chatting with their friends. "Don't be mad. I know you're not in the mood because of your menstruation. After they leave, we'll have some time alone," he said with a smirk, giving me a teasing look. I pushed him away and glared at him. He chuckled softly and quickly kissed me on the lips. This guy is such a fool. He hugged me tightly, not caring about his flirtatious behavior. "Okay, form your line properly," the MC suddenly said, so he separated from me. We all stood at attention, and the flag ceremony began. After it ended, there was a brief announcement, and then we were dismissed to go back to our respective classrooms. We were the first to leave Dark's group. He held my hand, quickly kissed me on the lips, and left. We returned to our classroom, prayed, and then sat down. Our teacher started discussing, and we listened attentively. I couldn't help but glance outside and saw Dark and his friends at the study shed inside the campus. Don't they have classes today? I just ignored them and focused on our teacher. I was sitting by the window to get some fresh air. Our room had air conditioning, five units to be exact. They were really rich, which is why they established this kind of school. We were just joking around and laughing, making so much noise that it could be heard from other classrooms. "Ouch! Can you just laugh quietly and stop hitting me?" I said to Ellaine because she kept hitting my arm, and it was turning red. "Sorry," she said, still laughing. After our teacher finished discussing, another teacher took over. "DISCUSS" "DISCUSS" "DISCUSS" When it was over, we had our recess. We stood up, packed our things, and left the classroom. I left my bag and just brought my wallet and phone. We went to the cafeteria, which was filled with students. We passed by Dark's group, but we didn't pay them any attention. We lined up, ordered our food, and then found a somewhat secluded spot to eat since the other areas were already full. "Let's eat, I'm hungry," Xyrene said, sitting down and taking a bite of her food. I just shook my head at her and placed my wallet and phone in front of me before starting to eat. "Isn't that King's case?" someone asked. "Oh, yes," another person replied. "Isn't it weird? It's black, and Dark's name starts with a D," someone else commented. "Are they a couple?" another person asked. "Yeah, right?" they all agreed. They were gossiping, but we just ignored them and continued laughing and talking. Suddenly, someone kissed my cheek. I was surprised to see Ate Dinnes with Kuya Jobert. "Ate!" I happily greeted her, and she hugged me and laughed. "You're still beautiful," she said affectionately, making me laugh and playfully slap her arm. "You, too. Mom told me you're King's girlfriend?" she said, so I covered her mouth with my hand. We chatted for a while before saying goodbye. The bill rang, so we stood up and walked back to our classroom. Months passed, and sometimes Dark and I would argue over small things that meant a lot to me. We were both busy because he was graduating on Monday, while I still had a few more years of college. "I'm sorry," he said to me. "Sorry? Does your face look sorry?" I angrily replied, turning my back on him. He apologized again, and I slowly turned to face him. He fixed my messy hair and wiped away my tears before quickly kissing me on the lips and forehead and hugging me tightly. I bit his chest, causing him to scream in pain. I was furious with him. He just looked at me, still holding his chest, while his hand was on my shoulder. I looked at him angrily, and he just stared back at me. His chest turned red, and it even became violet. I quickly kissed his pulse point and made him sit on the bed. I grabbed the first aid kit and treated his wound. Even though I looked like a demon, I still felt guilty for hurting him. We spent the whole day in the condo. It was Sunday, and tomorrow was his graduation. My parents had already gone home, and they were at our house. We spent the day laughing and joking around. He would start working at his company, while I would continue studying at the college to become a doctor. That's the course I'm taking, so I really need to focus. It had been a year since we started dating, and we were practically getting married. Our parents couldn't separate us anymore. If I went home, he would pick me up and bring me to the condo. There was no escaping him. Kuya was already married in Switzerland because his wife is from there. Sister Darlin is half-Filipina, so she knows how to speak Tagalog. She's really nice. "We weren't able to attend because I was busy with my studies. Only my mom and dad attended Kuya's wedding. He even looked for me, but we just had a video call, and I greeted him. He understood that studying is more important than his wedding. They just sent me a video of their wedding ceremony. I can say 'wow' because the place was so beautiful, and there were many people there. I heard that they will also be coming back tomorrow to attend my graduation. Dark's parents also visit us here to see us, and my parents as well."
