“You have a half-sister on the Island?” Colton asked. He was still amazed by Kramer’s story.
“Yes.” Kramer paced in front of the television screen. He had risked his career, his job, everything, to help them out of the cells. Colton knew that much before Kramer began to explain why. “I kept it hidden from the organization. A couple years ago it almost came to light, but I pulled a few strings to make sure that information never made it onto the desks of certain people. I thought it might jeopardize my own job and my own clearance. I was very fortunate that it remained confidential.”
