When Colton stopped and listened, he could hear the sounds of bass pulsing and thumping in the walls—certainly the party in the main foyer was alive and well. No doubt current extractors, special guests, administrators, politicians, and heavy donors were seated at elegant tables and drinking champagne or spinning like drunken teacups on the dance floor.
